aps.......I only brought up Clinton because during his 8 years in office, he was basically in the news for something of a sexual manner. I mean how many woman came forward with some sexual accusation agaisnt him. he lied about it........etc

I think what is going on in both parties are horrible. I dont think either can be proud. but at least be honest that clinton had a sexual addiction. he put his penis over logic in just about every situation. You would think that after getting caught with one woman a guy would stop and wipe the sweat off his brow and put it all behind him......but not slick Willy.

I am neither Republican or Democrat, and I happen to think both parties are absolutely corrupt. I am not necessarily a Bush lover at this point. However I could NEVER vote for a Democrat because of their stance on abortion.

Whats funny is that I dont think I have ever heard one Democrat ever say........that what sexual things Clinton did were wrong. Everything he did was honorable to them.

I just don't see it that way.

Well, gee..the republicans have held congress since '94, and both congress and the White House since '01. Do you see the repubs doing anything about abortion?

I see the repubs simply using abortion as a campaign issue. If abortion is outlawed, how will the repubs rally their base? They're hypocrites about the issue. I don't believe they want to see the issue go away because it creates a wedge between the parties, hence, they will never do anything about abortion. Hypocrites.
 
whats so commical is that if Foley was a Democrat, the very people condemning him here would be defending his actions. Just as Clinton was all "about a B.J." to them.

and on the same note, the people defending foley would be saying what a scum bag he was.

We are getting off topic and I am neither a Republican or a Democrat and just like us get 1 more justice on the SCOTUS and we will see how fast Roe V Wade goes away and abortion goes back to the states where it should have been all along........
 

You and I can say its both sides but a lot of the Liberals in this forum, not all, say its only the Republicans that is why they are such hypocrites................
 


The power lies with the Supreme Court. Even if they had statewide elections and the people voted to ban abortion the liberal judges would overturn the peoples wishes.
As you can see the Democrats really sat up and took notice when Bush nominated his two candidates for SC……..I wonder why? That is where the power is. and the Democrats are paranoid that if any more pro-lifers gain seats on the SC, Roe will be overturned. its the Democrats who are scared shi-less over it.



We also need to get the pro-life message out. And hospitals and pro-life agencies are doing that every day. People are taking a different look at abortion. As medical science makes advances and shows the changes in fetal viability…….people will change their minds, even if abortion is still legal. I think abortion numbers are on the decrease……..much to the dismay of Planned Parenthood. Its big bucks to them. the more children that are killed.....the more money they make.
 

I may not agree with your politics much of the time, ProudAmerican, but you nailed what I was trying to say in my 'Rant' post, perfectly. This whole thing reeks so much of partisanship, it's sickening. Foley did something wrong. Everyone needs to identify that, address it as his issue, and move on.
 

Sadly that is not going to happen...........Democrats and Liberals smell blood in the water.......They want to make this a huge election issue.......Thank God the Silent Majority is to smart for this ploy.........

This, too, sounds like partisanship, Navy Pride, but let's give you the benefit of the doubt for a moment. Can you condemn Foley for his behaviors without once mentioning liberals or Democrats? This is my point...seperating individual behaviors from partisanship.

I condemn Foley for the perverted scumbag he is..........To his credit he resigned.........Why didn't scumbags like Clinto, Kennedy, Studds and Frank do the same?

Firstly, nowhere have I ever condemned or not condemned any of the above named Democrats...I believe that this thread is about Foley, though, admittedly, my sidebar is about the hypocracy of the left playing partisan politics with this issue. Try to keep up, Navy Pride, I was supporting you with the exception of your inability to condemn a conservative without needing to bring partisanship in and throwing in some anti-liberal stuff. Your post, above, continues to prove that you cannot be objective in situations such as this and are nothing more than a partisan hack.
