Don't bother reading Con's biased analysis. Just go the the link and read it yourself.
Where Biden and Trump stand on key issues
Sure. An entire generation of post-WWII Americans were given a boost with FDA loans and the GI Bill. Those programs largely excluded people of color. They were systematically excluded from the biggest wave of middle-class growth in our history. What can we do for the present generation trying to get their kids into college and buy homes?
Sure. By using their inherited wealth to oppose health care expansion. The ensuing bankruptcies within unlucky families dooms them to poverty and a day-to-day existence.
No. There is almost no mainstream economic studies that support the notion that increasing the top marginal tax rate a few points has any effect whatsoever in people's incentives to work. Same for capital gains.
No it doesn't.
True, but that's not what is being proposed. Every developed nation on Earth provides basic health care for their citizens except the US. And yet they do quite well economically.
By taking such extreme positions you disqualify yourself from reasoned debate.

And there it is,
Can't have an actual discussion on the issues and policies....that would be too intelligent.
Nicely done, for all the waste of time it was....
Conservative has a template that he uses in every thread he enters. The same BS over and over.
Presenting graphs that are not even germane to the discussion. A thread-wrecker.

Right so sorry that posting actual data, pictures, videos of liberal results bothers you so much, get used to it and get out of your bubble to see what is really going on.
The most clueless guy on the board, when it comes to that. :lamo
Yes it is, funded by payroll taxes and remains a federal issue just like Medicare, people are forced to contribute along with their employer, the problem is it was a supplement not sole retirement that many people now require. What is the Democrat solution and how do they fund it?

You really shouldn't be so hard on yourself but at lease you recognize your problems
I agree that SS was never intended to be the only retirement income for people.
Here is an article on what Biden would like to see for SS. Of course Congress will have to buy off on changes.
Here'''s how Joe Biden plans to change Social Security if elected president
How does the Republicans (Trump) plan to fund SS since Trump would like the payroll tax done away with? If it is to be funded out of the General Fund then what are the Republican's cutting or will they continue with the deficit spending?
jpn;1072624176]First he won't unilaterally enact payroll deduction freezes that just screw with people's take home pay in a pathetic attempt to pretend that he's doing something for stressed workers.
But specifically, Biden's plan is here: Joe Biden's Plan for Older Americans | Joe Biden for President
It includes various ways of improving the current system, including increasing the minimum benefit and spousal benefits.
It also says: "The Biden Plan will put the program on a path to long-term solvency by asking Americans with especially high wages to pay the same taxes on those earnings that middle-class families pay."
Unless you can prove otherwise I give credit to the Americans and businesses for economic numbers you're giving. There's a baseball saying regarding on how well a team is playing that's apt to the performance of any POTUS.So those terrible Trump years pre pandemic, right, 900 billion dollars GDP dollar growth per year, 6.6 million NEW taxpayers, 10000 point stock market gain, 6% African American unemployment, 1.4 million fewer part time jobs for economic reasons. Sounds like a real wrecked economy to me, oh, wait, shut down the economy to stop the spread of the virus so we have bad economic data to blame on Trump!! Does that say it all?
I think the canned response is PONZI SCHEME! SOCIALISM! THROW IT OUT!
Or with the ones that try to be sane, and "electable" it's prrivatize, privatize, hey, why don't we PRIVATIZE?!? Yeah we MUST PRIVATIZE, that's the ticket! (So Wall Street can bilk it before killing it.)

A manager gets too much credit when his team is playing well and too much blame when it's not.
Would be interesting to see which States have been responsible for GPD growth in terms of total dollars.
Stock markets gains have been result of many things and other than fundamentals. Like ultra low interest rates and the Fed's pumping billions into our system.
Regarding immigration, Republicans are no more interested in reform than Democrats. It's been 34 years since major reform. This tells me it's unsolvable or it's not
big enough of an issue to be solved. Personally, think it's a little of both. Immigrants legal or otherwise will continue to want to come regardless and with an economy as big as ours we can afford to absorb more immigrants. Just don't see immigration as a negative or a major problem. Prove to me it is.
Healthcare is a basic human right. I know you disagree, which is fine.
We spend incredible amounts on law enforcement and imprisonment. Prior to covid crime rates have been dropping for quite sometime now. Prove to me we should spend more on law enforcement and imprisonment.

Although I never supported the payroll tax holiday under Obama and don't here tell me how enacting a payroll tax freeze doesn't put more money into people pockets?
Right more rhetoric, a lot of words and no specifics but you are famous for buying rhetoric and ignoring content
This thread compares the Biden and Trump agenda, I don't see you addressing anything in the OP
And what would those be and what increase in benefits, how much? details to be determined?
