It used to be said that the democrats were for the working class Americans. They were very much nationalist. Growing up, I heard that the democrats were for the working man.

They were the first to support fences along our southern borders, to keep illegals from coming here taking the working mans job.
They used to support doing something about the Federal Reserve, who continually over inflated the value of the USD, forcing the value of the USD into the toilet.
They fought for womens rights.
They fought against true racism.
IIRC, they fought against Reagan opening up so much foreign investment.
Their biggest selling point to NAFTA, was how many American jobs it would create.

But apparently, all of that was just a lie to get votes. Because now, not only is the left supporting more jobs leaving the US with these trade deals. They actually fought against Trump and his trade war with China. A war that Trump supported because so many American jobs have left for China.
They don't support shutting down our southern border to keep illegals and soooo many supposed refugee's out.
They don't say a word about how the over inflated USD is causing $10hr to become a poverty wage.
They'd rather fight for the transgirl to beat up on biological women in sports. Especially high school sports. In fact, if a biological female is opposed to transgirls competing against biological females, they're quick to bash the real female.
When it comes to racism, they support a democrat lead system that keeps more minorities in the ghetto and hooked on welfare. Fact: When a black person that didn't allow anything to keep them from success, and speaks out against the racist system, he's called an "Uncle Tom," or some other childish name.
Also, the left cares more about the homeless violent thugs, more so than their victims. They want to see druggies get free drugs, a place where they can do these drugs (paid for with tax dollars), where the police aren't allowed. They'll say it's "inhumane" to take a violent druggy thug out and away from a free society. Like in prison, where they can't create a victim in the free world. In fact, you rarely hear the left stand up for victims of the violent druggy thugs. Even though many of their victims are working class Americans.

Correct, I claim I'm not a republican because I don't trust or support the GOP. And haven't for 10 years. The last republican I supported was a libertarian with a Republican label. And he was THE ONLY republican I supported. And the only reason I supported him was because he was a conservative. So it only stands to reason, since 99% of the republicans aren't conservative, that I don't support the Republican party. In fact, I don't support any party. Including the Libertarian party. I support much of their platform. But over the last few years, even libertarians don't actually support much of their own platform.
And considering that the Libertarians support legalizing most, if not all drugs, open borders and gotten overly supportive of the transmovement, I'm supporting less and less of their platform.
I vowed many years ago to never be a loyal party member to any party.

But don't let that take away from the way of the new Democrat party. The one that doesn't support working class Americans any longer. So, as much as you want to make this personal, please at least try to stay focused and on topic. Try not to make it about me. I enjoy the attention. Really I do. But this isn't about me.

Personally, I think the democrats have always been as fascist as the GOP. Back in the 70's, 80's and part of the 90's, they just hid it very well. 1. Democrats fight for universal healthcare, a huge help to workers, healthcare costs can bankrupt them
2. Democrats fight for higher wages, higher min wages, so people can not starve and be near homeless from working full time job or even more.
3. More taxes on the wealthy to go to things to actually help the people.
4. Infrastructure- this will help the working many by not having crumbling infrastructure, having better water, roads, etc.

Despite Republican opposition, there are still very good union jobs. You said Democrats used to be for the working man, well they still are, and I should know, having worked a union job which provided me a good wage, job security and early retirement from that job with a solid pension. This is what the right abhors and fights against! They try to union bust at every turn.
