Atheists are more Christian than Christian...

1. When they would rather feed the poor than make fun of them.

2. When they accept the down trodden instead of cry for someone to build them a Wall.

3. When they care more about neglected born children than aborted fetuses.

4. When they care about all of humanity instead of putting America First.

5. When they limit their carbon footprint instead of consuming like gluttonous swine.

6. When they recognize a false profit for what his is instead of cheering him.

7. When they seek peace instead of instigating war.

8. When they love their neighbor instead of judging their sex life.

9. When they embrace charity over greed.

10. When they vote against their political adversaries instead of demonizing them with hateful rhetoric.

Hmm...I'd get offended, but I do all those things. You must be talking about some other kind of Christian.

Also...**** false profits!! ;)

Then they're not real Christians, are they? And we both know there are plenty of them around, just as Jesus said there would be...

That would be US Evangelicals who make the most noise here and insist they speak for all Christians. So, since I'm good with that claim, I will paint the wall with their colors.

Maybe real Christians, if they exist, should tell the Evangelicals to take a flying leap. Just saying.

I think you've seen me do just that. Just saying.

As stated in post 4, "real Christians need to tell these Evangelicals to take a flying leap."

If they don't, that broad brush will paint them just as well. And, I am good with that.

Ya, but you're Canadian. No American Evangelical Christian will even acknowledge you exit. You've seen that too. I imagine.

I think I'll wait on Jehovah to make His move...remember the parable of the wheat and the weeds?

The dude hasn't done squat since the flood, I think he's taking a nap.

haha...sometimes I don't know whether I'm being told "ya, but you're Canadian" is a compliment or an insult... lol

If you're on FB, you should check out a group called Progressive Christianity and Politics. It's a primarily American. Oh, I know you'll roll your eyes at the religious stuff, I'm not trying to convert you, and it's an internal group, so you'll see people working through stuff that would sound problematic to someone not new to progressive thinking...but that said, I think you'll at least see there's another side to American Christians.

As usual, the loudest braying comes from the biggest asses, which is why you always seem to hear more about the ****ty people calling themselves Christians than the good folks minding their business and observing their faith without doing any harm to anyone. In this Christians and Atheists have something in common. ;)

No eye-roll. In fact I got the idea for this thread by listening to a Christian group which is trying to draw people away from Trumpism, for the obvious reasons. They get it.

Cool. Glad to hear someone's representing us well. Hopefully they get as much, or at least close to the same amount, of air play as the d-bags.

Some Atheists generally make good moral choices, others generally make bad moral choices... Same goes for Christians, Buddhists, Muslims, ... ... ...

However, all people are inherently morally bad. They may WANT to always do good, but no human being has ever been able to always keep complete control over his/her own selfish pride.

#6 - A "false profit". Yep, that's more Christian alright, LOL!

It's that "He works in mysterious ways" thing again. Isn't it?

Not really...it just takes a little diligent study to understand His works/will/way, that's all...

Meantime, how many have perished? Was that really necessary?

Considering the fact that he could have chosen to wipe out Satan, Adam and Eve in the very beginning and none of mankind would have had the chance for life...yes...He chose to give us all that chance...it's our choice as to what we do with that chance...

Also the fact that He has the power to undo anything that happens to us, even death...

Nowadays doctors with machines that go "ping!" do that.

Adam and Eve could have lived without Satan. The plot wouldn't have been as interesting, but there would have been less violence and death.

True, but the angel, now known as Satan, was also created with free will so this is where we are...

Also, it can boil an egg at 30 paces, whether you want it to or not, actually, so I've learned to stay away from hens. It's not pretty when they blow.

Where does it say that in the bible.
