What's happening in Gaza

...Israel launched its war on Gaza in response to the Hamas-led attacks on southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, during which Palestinian militants killed about 1,200 people and took 251 hostage. Since then, the Israeli military has leveled and occupied much of Gaza, killing more than 62,000 people there, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, and has displaced nearly the entire population at least once....it includes figures that show the majority of the dead are women and children....

Tight Israeli restrictions on humanitarian aid entering Gaza, along with rising insecurity, are fueling a hunger crisis in the enclave, where health authorities say 271 people, including 112 children, have died of starvation and malnutrition during the war, most of them since mid-July....

Gaza City and the surrounding territory are officially suffering from famine, a global group of experts announced on Friday, nearly two years into an unrelenting war in which Israel has blocked most food and other aid from entering the Gaza Strip.

The group, which the United Nations and aid agencies rely on to monitor and classify global hunger crises, said that at least half a million people in Gaza Governorate were facing the most severe conditions it measures: starvation, acute malnutrition and death.

With rare exceptions, the rest of Gaza’s total population of two million people was also struggling with severe hunger, according to the group, the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification, which is made up of experts who monitor world hunger.

For many of those people, the group said, conditions were likely to worsen, sending two additional governorates farther south — Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis — into an official famine by the end of September....

The group said in a report published on Friday that a combination of factors had tipped Gaza into famine: the intensifying conflict, stringent Israeli restrictions on aid, the collapse of health care, water and sanitation systems, the destruction of local agriculture and the growing number of times people had been forced to flee for new shelters....

If the Palestinians are hungry then they should release the hostages.

And they should remember this hunger the next time they think about starting a war with Israel.

Palestinians don't have the hostages, Hamas does.

Palestinians don't have the hostages, Hamas does.
Hamas has ab out 20 living hostages. The rogue state has perhaps 10,000 living hostages in torture prisons.

The journalist who filed that story a couple weeks ago - or one very similar - was one of the five journalists and 20 murdered in the double strike missile attack on the last remaining hospital.

No one "controls" the settlers. They are civilians, not soldiers in an army.

That is incorrect. We trained them to defeat Communism. And they did.
It is correct. The horrors of the school of the Americas have been extensively documented and they are now being acknowledged for the criminals they were.

Settler crimes are being abetted by the Israeli government. Its too late to lie about them now. They act in concert with IDF backing to terrorize people from their homes. IE theft.

You are no different than the afrikaners.

There's reporting from Gaza. A concern is if Israel's attacks are done as if there were no two million civilians there. It reports 30-40% of casualties seen are children; with children 40% of the population that suggests rather indiscriminate attacks. Remove the two spaces to watch this:

That's what happens when a terrorist group uses civilians as human shields.

Drop Site News:

  • At least 40 Palestinians have been killed by Israel since dawn Sunday, including at least 25 people in northern Gaza, 14 in southern Gaza, and one in central Gaza. Among those killed was Palestinian photojournalist Osama Balousha in an airstrike that targeted his home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City.
  • Gaza’s Ministry of Health reports at least 67 Palestinians killed and 320 injured in the past 24 hours. Fourteen Palestinians were killed and 85 injured while seeking aid. The total recorded death toll since October 7, 2023 is now 64,522 killed, with 163,096 injured.
  • Six more deaths were recorded over the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, bringing the total since the start of the war to 393, including 140 children.
  • Israel’s newly designated “humanitarian zone” for the nearly one million Palestinians it plans to forcibly displace from Gaza City is just 43 square kilometers (16 square miles), in Muwasi, Khan Younis, near the Egyptian border—outside the “vast open spaces” the IDF recently touted as suitable for tents.
  • Israel demolished the Al-Rouya residential tower in Tel al-Hawa, southwest Gaza City, on Sunday, bringing the total number of buildings completely destroyed over the past several days to at least 50. On Monday, the Israeli military published another map with a highlighted building—a 17-story commercial tower—and a nearby tent encampment in the heart of western Gaza City, saying it would soon be targeted.

Drop Sie News:

  • Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Monday said that Israel would escalate airstrikes on Gaza even further. "A mighty hurricane will hit the skies of Gaza City today, and the roofs of the terror towers will shake. This is a final warning to the murderers and rapists of Hamas in Gaza and in the luxury hotels abroad: Release the hostages and lay down your weapons - or Gaza will be destroyed, and you will be annihilated," Katz wrote on X.
  • Four Israeli soldiers were killed on Monday when an explosive device detonated under a tank in the northern Gaza Strip, according to Al Jazeera Arabic.
  • Since Gaza’s famine declaration on Aug. 22, only about 12 food trucks a day have reached their intended destinations—less than 2% of the 600 trucks needed daily. UN data shows most aid is intercepted before reaching warehouses or bakeries, with over 80% lost to desperate civilians or armed groups. In the past month, fewer than 600 trucks arrived in total, roughly what Gaza requires in a single day.
  • A Gaza City medical student told U.S. medic Dr. Mimi Syed that there is nowhere safe to go as Israel orders over a million Palestinians to evacuate the city, warning, “We will not survive this time.” The student described the fear and destruction around her, saying, “I’m so scared… I’m sorry.”

  • Israel’s foreign minister Gideon Saar said six people were killed in the Jerusalem attack (not five as Israel’s ambulance service had said) after Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a crowded bus stop in the northern outskirts of the city.
  • At least 40 Palestinian people have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn
