There's reporting from Gaza. A concern is if Israel's attacks are done as if there were no two million civilians there. It reports 30-40% of casualties seen are children; with children 40% of the population that suggests rather indiscriminate attacks. Remove the two spaces to watch this:

Israel is doing what it can to avoid civilian casualties. Hamas is just hiding behind children like cowards. This is why the best course of action is overwhelming force to destroy Hamas as quickly as possible. The sooner every Hamas combatant is captured or killed, then the sooner the process of providing aid to civilians can begin. In the meantime, blame Hamas for dead civilians, not Israel.

Not just attacks but also the tightening of the blockade to the point that Israel intends that no food, no potable water - already in short supply - no medicines etc can get through.

Starving 2,000,000 people to death.

No, it's not. Bombing such a densely-populated area proves Israel sure as heck isn't trying to avoid civilian casualties.

What do you think is the point of sending a modern AF against defenseless urban populations?

What happened to the Israeli people was inhumane, but this is as well.

Six days of Israeli airstrikes have left more than 300,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip homeless, with two million residents facing critical shortages of food, water and fuel, while Israeli troops prepared on Thursday for a possible ground invasion after Hamas’s deadly weekend assault.

Retaliating for the bloodiest attack on Israel in 50 years, Israel is pummeling Gaza with a ferocity not seen in past conflicts and has cut off vital supplies to the coastal territory. Health officials in Gaza, home to two million people, said the Israeli bombardment had killed more than 1,500 people and injured over 6,600 others....

Of course they are. They are not using it against defenseless urban populations. They are using it against an armed terrorist organization that just brutally murdered 1200 Jewish civilians in an early morning raid.

Not the children!!!

Israel is doing what it can to avoid civilian casualties.

When children are 40% of the population, and about 40% of the casualties, 'what it can' looks like 'nothing'. So let's re-write that, it appears Israel is doing nothing to avoid civilian casualties. When the head of the military said all rules are removed for the military and no war crimes will be prosecuted - ya, nothing.

Hamas is just hiding behind children like cowards.

This 'coward' crap is idiotic. The issue is the morality. Call them immoral - and while you're at it call the IDF who use Palestinians, including children, as human shields immoral also. You have posted saying that, also?

That is the smart strategy. The quickest end to this war is to force Hamas to surrender or flee by cutting off their access to food, water, and medical care.

No, they're obviously using terror-bombing against defenseless civilians. 2,000,000 of them, whether you want to accept that fact or not.

I don’t know. If I started a war with my neighbor by killing his children, I wouldn’t then surround myself with my children in order to force my neighbor to kill children if he wanted to kill me. You don’t think that’s cowardly?

Why? Because 2,000,000 people - many of them children - have no right to live?

They are not. They are using them against Hamas. It is Hamas that is choosing to put children in the line of fire.

Yes, except Hamas is not the majority of the population in Gaza. Over 40% of its' citizens are under the age of 15. And they are being bombed while hospitals have no electricity or water to treat the wounded. Can you say "throwing the baby out with the bathwater". And this would be almost literally.

What happened to the Israeli people was inhumane, but this is as well.
Some people think there has to be a good guy and a bad guy. If Hamas is the bad guy for the attack, then Israel has to be the good guy and can do no wrong also.

They are not. They are using them against Hamas. It is Hamas that is choosing to put children in the line of fire.
They're using the bombs against the entire population. There's no way you can reasonably argue otherwise.

Can you say "throwing the baby out with the bathwater". And this would be almost literally.

It's not literal, because they have no bathwater left.

Anyone taking bets he didn't watch the video?

Yes. Thanks to Hamas. It isn’t Israel’s fault that Hamas invaded Israel and killed civilians, and it isn’t Israel‘s fault that Hamas is willing to sacrifice their own children on the alter of killing Jewish women and children.

Of course they have a right to live. But Hamas being Hamas is choosing to allow them to die.
Hamas isn't doing the bombing.

Hamas isn't seeing to it that NO food, no water, no fuel, no medicines get into the Strip to take care of 2,000,000 human beings.

Israel and Israel alone is doing this.

Except Hamas was elected to political offices; they are responsible for governing and providing service just like every government.

The children...THE CHILDREN...

Using a modern military, day after day, against a DEFENSELESS entire population, because Israel is pissed and wants to exact revenge on an immense scale, is not defensible.
