I've seen some variation of this way too many times to not see anything mentioned in the wild. For someone that actually visits more left leaning spaces, this seems to be even a very minority view in those spaces.

I'm guessing those small amount of voices are being constantly played on rightwing media.

I mean fascism has fabulous aesthetics. No one can honestly say the Nazis and Soviets didn't have drip and kickass aesthetics.

But the Sydney Sweeney thing isn't fascism, it's just lowest common denominator marketing slop which has masterfully delivered to the intended feeble minded target audience. Conservatives will consume literally anything so long as it's "FRICKIN' BASED MAN!!".

Reminds me of Mean Girls or one of those movies where the bitchy girl is like "you're just jealous because I'm hotter than you." No, it's because you're a bitch.

I don't know anything about the Sweeney thing except somebody next to me on my flight yesterday was watching FoxNews for 6 hours (Jesus Christ, get your own personality) and they seemed to be pushing something about it. Not on my radar but no surprise the OP brought it up.
