What Would You Do?

Could be, OIA, but if he is, he's way off base...we do not reject modern medicine, in fact we welcome it...the only treatment we do reject is blood transfusions for scriptural reasons, that's it...what the OP fails to realize is that bloodless medicine is not in any way, shape, or form a rejection of modern medicine....bloodless medicine is modern medicine...around 20 years ago there were hundreds of hospital that had already went bloodless...why? It is superior medicine...bloodless medicine is the gold standard of medicine in these modern times...

Except basically every single major surgery or treatment in modern medicine requires blood transfusions.

Can surgery be done without blood?

Bloodless Medicine and Surgery is a safe and effective approach to medical care. And it turns out there are benefits to avoiding transfusions. Patients recover faster, have shorter hospital stays and experience fewer infections than patients who have transfusions.

interesting Daisy

i would like to know more about 'bloodless medicine'; perhaps you may have a good link to bring us up to speed on the issue?

thanks.

God through people created the justice system and gave us morality to judge this action.

It was kind of like the story of the guy sitting on his roof waiting for God to save him from the flood and a man in the Jeep comes by him says hey hop in and he says no I'll wait for God to save me. And a fellow with the boat paddles by a little later during the flood this is known God's going to save me, and finally when the water is about to swallow up his entire home a helicopter comes by and he refuses help from them saying no God's going to save me.

Then the guy dies in the front that goes up to God and say why didn't you save me and God says I sent you a Jeep a boat and a helicopter what more do you want.
Nice story. I hope there is a god you have to face one day.

How successful is bloodless surgery?

There are many benefits to a bloodless approach. Research shows that patients who do not receive blood transfusions recover faster, experience fewer infections and leave the hospital sooner than those who do.

What do Jehovah Witness get instead of blood?

Jehovah's Witnesses reject red and white blood cells, platelets, and plasma, even at the cost of their lives, but they accept so called minor fractions such as albumin and globulin as a personal choice. The church organisation, the Watchtower Society, introduced the policy on refusal of blood in 1945.

Except basically every single major surgery or treatment in modern medicine requires blood transfusions.

we need to examine how true this may be; i took the Easy Road for initial search and used my You AI bot....

Based on the search results, it is not accurate to say that every single major surgery or treatment in modern medicine requires blood transfusions. The need for a blood transfusion depends on various factors, such as the individual patient's condition, the type of surgery or treatment being performed, and the amount of blood loss expected during the procedure.
While blood transfusions are commonly used in major surgeries and treatments, they are not always necessary. In some cases, alternative treatments or strategies may be used to manage blood loss or to address specific medical conditions without the need for a transfusion. These alternatives can include medications to promote blood clotting, minimally invasive surgical techniques, or the use of synthetic blood products.

It is important to note that the decision to perform a blood transfusion is made on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the individual patient's needs and the risks and benefits associated with the procedure. The ultimate goal is to provide the best possible care for the patient while minimizing the risks and complications that may arise from a blood transfusion.

Therefore, it is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional or surgeon to determine whether a specific surgery or treatment requires a blood transfusion. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate and personalized information based on your specific situation.

Not a major surgery. You aren’t doing something like open heart surgery or brain surgery without a blood transfusion.

Just google 'bloodless medicine' and tons of info comes up...here is the link to info on jw.org...

thank you. there are various Modalities used in medicine; some may like Herbal medicine and in many cases is out performs Allopathic (pharmaceutical drug) medicine. we can go on for pages regarding various forms of health care.

choosing the best medicine to use in the healing process i feel is the right of the patient, and no one should be forced to have medical procedures but should have a choice of the Best Medical procedures available. nutritional therapy, adequate rest, adequate water intake, nutritional food and exercise are simple healthy practices that need to be Encouraged.

start there.

Not all surgical or invasive procedures require blood transfusions. Most do not. Blood product transfusions are necessary and given when a patient's hemoglobin/hematocrit and/or platelet counts drops too low or when hypovolemia is present or expected. There is no rational reason to reject blood products when they are required or necessary.

I would grant the emancipation because, no duh.

I'd also consider referring the parents to a prosecutor.
On what basis? There's no obvious abuse. If parents should be held liable for all sickness affecting their children a lot of parents might fall into the hole of neglect. How soon should parents seek medical attention when their children become sick?

You get that isn’t open heart surgery, yes?
What I get is that you should read before speaking...lol...

thank you, very good story.

at least this thread should encourage people to look at Alternative Treatments and Therapies. this is not 'one size fits all'; kinda the reason we go for second opinions.

when i attended college, i worked also in medicine and leaned pharmaceutical type of medicine i.e. the conventional stuff. but i recognize various modalities in medicine including faith based medicine of prayer and fasting.

check out some books on fasting and intermittent fasting. the first book that opened my eyes to this is a book called 'Fasting can save your life'. an excellent book written by a Doctor whose clinic would treat people with problems his other MD's couldn't handle. after fasting for a day or few days, whatever many were cured of problems they had for decades. we find after fasting for 3 days that Human Growth Hormone rises 1800% and helps the healing process in our bodies like stem cells.

another healing modality i like is called Reflexology, these docs are like chiropractors but more gentle putting your bones back in place. well i feel better after the doc works on me; how often does that happen at your docs office ???

that is the beauty of medical freedom. also i know God heals, at the churches i attend many are healed of stuff the docs can't help with.

blessings always.

A post you didn’t tag me so I had no idea it existed?

What happens when someone needs open heart surgery and is anemic?
It's right above yours...

Which I didn’t see because I went directly to the post you quoted me in and then posted my reply.

Again I ask, what happens when someone needs open heart surgery and is anemic? Do they just not get the surgery and die?
