What would the gipper think of you lot?

What do you think about our emperor trump?

Trainwreck of a man who can't form a single sentence without at least 7 tangents.

But I do agree with the majority of his platform.

You're going to fire off insults at "smug, condescending pricks" without clarifying who they are? I am disappointed. 😕

lolol

Your just itching to see me take another vacation.

Trust me. I want to be here in your time of need.

As far as Palestinian protesters, if anyone tries to silence peaceful protesters I'll get off my ass and protest right there with them.

In fact if the do-gooder bible thumpers let power go to their heads and decide they want to curtail ANY speech from the Left that they deam innacceptable or immoral I'll change right back to the liberal side of my younger days.

Without free speech we do not have a Democratic Republic.
Thank you

I think he would wish he had been able to do what Trump is going to do.

But he wouldn't be aghast at what has become the other party?

Pssshhh. The Democrats were way further left back during Reagan's day. George McGovern was a real social democrat. None of this Clintonian means-tested welfare austerity and neo-liberal trade and business policies that have lasted to the present day.

Of course.

But we won't tolerate Hamas loving college students harrassing Jewish students. Protest peacefully until your face is blue.
Trump does not

George McGovern also lost 49 states and lost the popular vote 60-37, so perhaps hard-left economic populism isn't the way to go.

3 marriages?
No.

Reagan knew it was coming, but wasn't able to nip it in the bud. As a result, we've had decades of Globalists and their bought and paid for politicians.

People love hard-left economic populism. It's why everyday Republican voters (not the politicians) will fight tooth and nail to keep their Social Security and Medicare. They just hate it when it is proposed to be given to them by Democrats.

Maybe your definition of hard-left economic populism differs from mine, but I wouldn't include merely protecting Social Security and Medicare benefits. Today's democratic socialists seem to despise Democrats who only commit to such a tepid welfare state.

They were the economic populist policies of their time, nearly a century ago. But, certainly, policies like Medicare For All should be a baseline Democratic Party policy goal today. Not something talked about solely by Bernie Sanders acolytes.

When trump takes away freedoms

tRump barely won the popular vote, and not even a majority at that. Hardly a mandate.
I see you picked up the goal post and set it down another 30 yards back.
