What will the Republican attacks/smears against Kamala be?

We're in the honeymoon, but there is a process, we're basically guaranteed Republicans will test and poll and find the strongest attacks or smears to put into their media machine and party talking points.

I feel I could close to write the survey that will be done, I've seen them.

"We're going to list a series of statements some people make about Kamala Harris. Please rank each from 1 to 5, where 1 is no effect on your voting for Harris, and 5 is the largest effect for you to not want to vote for Harris.

- Some say that Harris had intimate relations with politicians early in her career to help her advance. How does this affect your desire to vote for her?

- Some say that Harris quietly encouraged those leaders pushing Biden to resign, so she could run for president. How does this affect your desire to vote for her?"

And so on, for several to dozens, about attacks on her experience, her qualifications, on FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) about her being an unknown quantity, on racial issues and policy, about her not having become the nominee in a normal primary and doing poorly in 2020, etc.

She is black. She is a woman. She is in favour of policies for ordinary people.

She was not my first choice by any means, but she is soooooooooo much better than Biden.

I suspect on the 'smear' side they may launch those in their less official channels, such as insinuating she had multiple abortions secretly.
 
Once they calm down, they will go with the "border czar" canard non-stop. They have invested heavily in the border throughout the rightwing infotainment system. It has bubbled up into the mainstream. I am surprised there hasn't been a "caravan forming in southern Mexico" story hit yet. Perhaps it's too early.

They might break out the classic, "most liberal member of the Senate." They used that on Kerry and Obama.

The only 'official issue' Kamala was put in charge of I think of is 'root causes of migration in countries to the south', which I think is a very important issue, and I can't think of one thing she did to fix the issue, creating some extra vulnerability for her on immigration. Maybe she's done things I'll learn about.

All they have to do is tell the truth about her...videos don't lie, but the Trump hating media will lie about the videos.
 
Well, perhaps they’ll dig up articles questioning the influence of her relationship with Willy Brown to kickoff her political career.

She also interacted with the leaders and diplomats of Mexico and the Central American countries involved.

But she had no day-to-day contact with / specific oversight re specific border events, border agents, those who entered the country legally and illegally.

I believe it was the LA Times. It was years ago, 1990’s I think. Should be common knowledge for informed voters. I’m not looking it up for you.

She wasn't supposed to have a role with border control, she was supposed to look for ways to reduce the causes - the poverty and crime and things making people flee for their lives. Which is what we should do and all the more since we cause a lot of it.

It was strongly rumored at the time. It didn't get to the 'confessions or pictures' proof stage. It's been a long time and I think only Republicans will (hypocritically is an understatement) care.
