What will happen to the Medicare tax dollars not used for the program after it is pri

Ryan and GOP are going to privaize the Medicare program and reduce benefits for the people who are on Medicare. That is what Ryan has said, not me. The voucher or coupon they receive can be put at any level the GOP congress and Executive branch want. My question is what happens to the funds not spent that are supposed to be used for the Medicare Program? In the past the money was "borrowed" by the congress to help pay for the deficit while the Medicare program, and the Social Security Program, were given IOU"s. Those IOU's total over 2.6 trillion dollars. IN the future with Medicare Privatized, will we ever know where the money is spent. Another thought is will some attaorney bring a class action suit to force the government to either insure the present benefits are covered by the vouchers when being forced to purchase private insurance. One last thought, if they repeal the ACA, what happens to pre-existing conditions. Will private insurance be allowed to turn down older citizens for having pre-existing conditions?

You've put a heck of a lot of opinion in the above post as if it's a proven fact. Such as what you say in the very first sentence: "Ryan and GOP are going to privatize (sic) the Medicare program and reduce benefits for the people who are on Medicare."

Would you care to add some links to supporting documentation? I prefer to not debate opinion that is provided without the person opining at least trying to back up their claims with factual evidence.

The articles you linked to have no quotes from Ryan saying anything about privatizing Medicare. In fact, one of them refers to an interview with Bauer and contends Ryan said something about it...but I didn't hear it. That article says some blather about "code words".

I suggest you wait until somebody advances legislation calling for privatizing Medicare before you get your panties in a twist about something that is very unlikely to happen.

Ryan has been pushing for the privatization of Medicare for the better part of a decade. The question now is whether Trump will sign it. Signs are starting to point to yes: Here Are the New Policy Stances Donald Trump Has Taken Since the Election
1. Reform Medicaid and Medicare

Trump's transition website has launched and now promises reforms to the program, including modernizing Medicare and offering "flexibility" to states' administering Medicaid for "innovative" solutions. These are vague references at reform, but hint at the kind of reforms the rest of his party -- and particularly House Speaker Paul Ryan -- has long championed. It also directly contradicts his initial promises not to touch entitlements.
