What "well regulated" means in the 2nd Amendment

You brought it up Eminent Domain saying it applies to slavery. You don't know it but you've just expressed am appeal from ignorance.

Now explain was it is and give an example of how it might apply.

Give an example of an "appeal to/from ignorance"
Give an example of a "general" and a "common" policy/law with regard to welfare and defense

Explain how an armed and mustered militia could eradicate crime and what actions they could take that current law enforcement isn't already doing.

I gainsay your contention. How would eminent domain not apply as federal public policy regarding abolition?

That's called an appeal from ignorance.

Because you can't think of a reason, does not make the opposite case true.

Still waiting for your examples of:
Eminent Domain
Appeal to/from ignorance
"General" and a "common" policy/law with regard to welfare and defense

You appeal to ignorance by claiming eminent domain wouldn't apply. There is no appeal to ignorance of the law in this frivolous venue, unless you are just trolling.

What is "an appeal from/to ignorance" ?

What does "Eminent domain" mean ?

You are still appealing to ignorance of the whole and entire concept of eminent domain.

That link on Eminent domain shows that it does not and cannot apply to slavery
Have you even read that link, let alone understood it ? Your link doesn't mention slavery once

You got it wrong the first time and you are still wrong now since you deliberately appeal to ignorance of the law in this frivolous venue. Thank Goodness for our federal doctrine of separation of powers. Show us how our welfare clause General and the power of eminent domain doesn't apply to Any given contingency our Congress may need to respond to.

There is no such Thing as a well regulated militia of Individuals in our Republic.

Every state has a militia

The second amendment says such militias should be "well regulated"

And absolutely the people in the USA aren't some Borg collective, they're a nation of individuals.

You still appeal to ignorance of the law. And simply troll without clue and without Cause.

Just a side thought;
In today's world, with all that is happening, and could happen, would you feel safer owning a firearm or not. What is the priority, a false sense of security or the your, or your family's, security?
I want no replies, I just want you to Think.
Thanks .....

I would feel less safe owning a hand gun.

If you really feel you're under threat in your own home or that a post apocalyptic society is almost upon us, buy a shotgun.

Nope the apocalypse is not here, yet.
Don't need to buy anything I already have my "arsenal" with spare parts, tools, and all the ammo I would ever need.
I do agree, you probably would not be safer with a handgun, plus the public would probably be less safe, so thanks for remaining unarmed.

Yes and neither should anyone else.

And I and Millions of other disagree, so here is a deal, you don't own them and I will own them, everyone gets their choice.

Hawaii and Maryland have stiff gun controls, no reaction there

You seem to have forgotten what you were asked for evidence of though.

They do. So what? What’s that have to do your proposal to amend the Constitution so amendments take only a majority so you an get rid of the 2A?

I have not forgotten. The question seems irrational. What is it you’re petulantly demanding evidence of?

The 2A does not say a militia should be well regulated. Even if it did, saying something should be does not grant power or authority. What it says is that a well regulated militia is necessary for the security of a free State. Which means your intended regulations are a threat to the security of our free State.

A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” "

Bolded just so you can see it more easily.

They do. So what?

So there was no public reaction to them

You have tried to

You seemed to claim there'd be some sort of public reaction to stricter gun control, but failed to provide any evidence

Indeed in the states I mentioned there was none.

So it looks like you're making wild claims unsupported by any evidence at all, that your quite unable to substantiate.
