What sort of stunt will Trump pull at the debate?

the Biden campaign shouldn't have agreed to another in person debate, because they don't need it. unless he sinks a couple threes, this won't help him. maybe not even then. it's a stupid move. they gave Tweety another trampoline, a bucket of shit to throw, and an audience.
I agree. Biden has too much to lose, and Trump is desperate & too unpredictable. Biden should have passed.

And Trunp would just hit back with Biden is afraid to debate me. If Biden uses COVID, Trump hits back with his negative test results so that isn't the issue. Biden couldn't back out without looking foolish IMO. In 24 hours we will see how it goes.

it's Tweety's staff that are the real risk. i would counter with "Tweety has mismanaged the pandemic both nationally and with his staff. i won't put my own staff at risk in the same way. our workers have been able to adapt to the pandemic. why can't the president?"

Yes, that is true. No matter the question to Trump, his answer will be Hunter Biden this and Hunter Biden that. It will send a good signal to his cult, but everyone else watching will consider it just another buffoon move by him. And it will not fluster Biden. It is true that for some reason, Trump was able to somehow fluster every one of his debate opponents in 2016 with his buffoon antics, all of the Republicans plus Hillary. But Biden has been around the block a few times and he fully realizes what a clown he is debating and will stay quite calm. The biggest problem is that he will have to spend too much time answering Trump's slurs of his son and that will take time away from being able to talk policy. Still, the honest and intelligent among us will recognize his attempt to do so while Trump drives his clown car all over the stage.
Go Joe!
I actually thought Biden addressed Trump's tantrums a little too much. He doesn't have to answer Trump's nonsense questions, nor should he.

Not when Trump pulls the get there too late to test BS again. Trump's base isn't changing. What they think is irrelevant at this point.
Nor is Biden's base they too are irrelevant. Both candidates are making their last pitch to the few voters who still are undecided who to vote dor or probably more appropriately who to vote agianst.

President Trump and his advisers have repeatedly discussed whether to fire FBI Director Christopher A. Wray after Election Day — a scenario that also could imperil the tenure of Attorney General William P. Barr as the president grows increasingly frustrated that federal law enforcement has not delivered his campaign the kind of last-minute boost that the FBI provided in 2016, according to people familiar with the matter. The conversations among the president and senior aides stem in part from their disappointment that Wray in particular but Barr as well have not done what Trump had hoped — indicate that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden or other Biden associates are under investigation, these people say. Like others, they spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose internal discussions.

In the campaign’s closing weeks, the president has intensified public calls for jailing his challenger, much as he did for Hillary Clinton, his opponent in 2016. Trump has called Biden a “criminal” without articulating what laws he believes the former vice president has broken. People familiar with the discussions say Trump wants official action similar to the announcement made 11 days before the last presidential election by then-FBI Director James B. Comey, who informed Congress he had reopened an investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state after potential new evidence had been discovered. Trump emphasized the point in an interview Tuesday with Fox News, saying “we’ve got to get the attorney general to act” and that Barr should do so “fast.” . . . .“This is major corruption,” Trump added, “and this has to be known about before the election.”

Remember: every accusation is a thinly veiled admission.
Thing is, Trump's antics were novel and unusual in 2015, getting great attention for him. But now 5 years later, they've lost their (positive) effect.

Any excuse is a good one if you're afraid Biden will look foolish in this debate I guess. And if he bowed out now it would be spun as Biden avoiding questions about his son and the alleged emails. Best thing Biden can do is show up and give it his best and let voters decide.

I personally know Trump supporters who are sick of his shit, but are still going to vote for him. Now if they are feeling that way, what are people who are on the fence feeling?

Im interested in seeing how many times a mic is forgotten to be shut off and who will benefit from that "mistake"

I'm interested in seeing if Biden mentions that secret China bank account and the $188,000 Trump paid to China in taxes. While he's at it he could also mention that secret $10,000,000 Egypt pumped into Trump's 2016 campaign that Trump secretly diverted to his own bank account.

I think they are feeling our country is screwed no matter what their vote or who wins

Trump's got to hit a home run.

He's going to be under extreme pressure to pull something off. Just winning the debate isn't going to be enough.

I bet he throws out some kind of accusation or something like it.

Animals are the most dangerous when they are backed into a corner and wounded.

I would almost wager he will bring up Hunter's email speculation or China bribe, etc... as fact, even though the moderator will not bring it up.

never happen

he is a petulant child who feels grieved

he will lash out as usual

As absurd as this would have sounded in the past as we knew it. Meaning presidential debates pre-trump era. I could see him trying to interrupt, then out of frustration on being muted, throwing up his hands, yell something childish and stomping off the stage.

:ROFLMAO: Trump is gonna be all about that laptop and Joe's connections to Burisma. You can take that to the bank.

Ironically, Drawdown, I'll be going to the bank tomorrow.

It will be the first time I'll ever walk into a bank wearing a mask and not get arrested.

:)

You know he will. Maybe walk over to Biden prior to the debate to get him to shrink back and then make fun of him for "being afraid" of COVID?
Or maybe, when his microphone is turned off, he will just walk over the Biden's mike in order to interrupt. Who could stop him from doing so?
Or even though his mike is turned off, he will continue to yell across the stage in order to disrupt and attempt to fluster Biden (which won't work--Biden is a cool character).
It's Trump's last chance in the campaign to show what a big baby he is in front of a national audience, so you know he'll do something.
I have no idea what Trump's strategy will be, but I hope he does this: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...sidential-debate-hunter-biden-laptop-scandal/

If he does, maybe I'll finally get to see Biden challenge Trump to a push up contest.

nah, he should have insisted on holding the debate virtually. it would have been fun to see Tweety's furious interruptions muted on a computer screen. someone could have sped it up 2x and put Yakety Sax behind the clips. now that's entertainment, lol.

I really really need to go to the bank but I just cannot make myself do it. I need to open some new accounts to move all mine from one of my banks to the other since the bank those accounts are at has screwed up deposits about 15 times this year due to their idiotic new computer system but it is such a time consuming PITA.

Then Biden runs the risk of a technical failure and the flak that would of gotten him. Best thing is for him to show up and mumble his way to the end in person.

He will have a stroke

Trump would just refuse and claim Biden was too scared to debate him. They have to swing for the fences and not take there perceived lead as absolute fact.

I hope he tries. It is the most unbelievable story ever to people with more than two brain cells.
Do you think Biden will finally deny all of the emails, text messages, etc? He hasn't denied anything yet.

He doesn't need too. He has faith that the majority of America has more than two brain cells.

Come on Man will be about all he says then drone on about a fake accomplishment.

Oh...he DOES need to take a stand. Especially if he's asked on national media. If he tries to blow it off, he'll only come across as trying to avoid the issue. That'll be a bad thing to do.

I tend to agree with you. If he wants to be president he has to debate his opponent. The voters expect it.
