What percent of the population wants to take away shotguns and deer rifles?

Own8ng a gun is not freedom. Being able to make the choice is freedom. Bow to your masters slave.
As I said I have made my choice and was free to do so. You however are again a complete failure to demonstrate otherwise.

But do keep going. Your repetition only demonstrates the incompetence of a pro gun person to actually give a credible argument as to why a gun is needed for freedom. Just keep repeating the same shit over and over there is bound to be someone in america who is stupid enough to believe you if you just do nothing more than keep repeating the same old lie over and over.

You did not freely make the choice to not own a firearm. It was made for you by your masters. Now bow to your masters slave.

Of course I did and again you have completely failed to prove otherwise. Show me the corruption that must exist in order for you to be correct that the decision to ban a certain gun type was forced by a government who did not care about what the people wanted. But you will not because you cannot.

Again you are a complete fail.

Really? Can you buy an AR 15 and keep it at your house? The answer is no and you didn't decide that. Your masters decided it for you slave. Bow to your masters. You have limited freedom because your masters say so. You can have a choice of any firearm you want along as your choice is to not have one.

Yes I did decide that by the very fact that I agree with what the government has done. They were correct to ban such a gun.
Yours is not a freedom, yours is a fear of losing something that has little other practical value than to kill a human. I find no need to own such a thing or even want them around me.

Again, you are confused and mistake freedom for your own fear of government.

I would have been concerned had it been any more than a handful of disgruntled right wing libertarians who kicked up a fuss about it but as the majority of people also agreed with the governments actions then by definition it was not forced on the people but in fact the government carrying out the will of the people.

But of course you would not understand such an action coming from a country where the will of the people is quite obviously the least concern of an american politician.

there is no need to ridicule the man by calling him a slave, because he certainly is not. I see those from other nations who ridicule our freedoms as being more akin to Aesop's fox: it lost its tail and spent the rest of its life trying to convince the rest of its fellow foxes to cut off their own tails. The moral of the fable was that misery craves company.

what exactly is your purpose of trying to criticize the rights that we Americans have that you do not?

I understand to a degree those for whom guns are a fetish but I am sometimes astonished by the level of their worship of the firearm. Just because you think you would be miserable without firearms doesn't mean those without them are.

when someone uses the term "fetish" in regards to gun owners, I invariably disregard their comments because such a comment is beyond stupid. There are many things I don't need, or want, but I don't spend hours trying to convince those who want them, that their having them, is bad. So what exactly is the goal of those who constantly carp about Americans being able to own guns, when the carpers don't even reside in the USA?

I understand that response from those for whom the firearm is a fetish. If you are triggered, I can use the phrase "tribal signalling device" instead.

That is the nature of debate, I suppose. I believe the hostility and violence shown toward those who draw the image of the Prophet Muhammad is bad so I might comment on it from time to time. I get that there are people in the world who feel the anger and violence is justified and righteous but I don't. I guess it is the same for some people and firearms. They think America's relationship with firearms is bad.

If we claim that guns are for some people a tribal signaling device; to which tribe do we consider those folks belong?

No, you are mistaken again. Although I do think that america would be better off if that particular right was removed. My purpose in being here is to point out just how absurd the arguments the pro gun people put out. As killer cloud has given an excellent example of. The pro gun crowd argue by meme. Shout out something loud enough and long enough and there will be people actually stupid enough to start believing it.

My other reason I find myself on such a thread is to defend my country against the worthless attacks of people like killer who are so ignorant that the best he can do is keep repeating a lie and has not the competency or the intelligence to actually back his lie.

As I have said to you many times. I have zero interest in the idea of whether america has a right to a gun I do not argue for the ban of guns in america. . However if you cannot support that belief without making ridiculous arguments that are quite literally thoughtless memes. the do not blame me for pointing out the absurdity.

Allow me to repeat, America does not have a problem with guns. It has a problem with stupidity with guns. It has a problem that for quite a few the idea of a right to a gun cannot be separated in their minds from the right to kill with that gun. Yours is a country that has been, since the russian cold war , taught to hate. Trump did not create the hate that is so apparent in america he just fueled it. Killer himself is a good example of that. He hates that I made a decision freely that he does not like. Instead of accepting that he instead pours out his hate for any who might dare challenge what laughably passes for thought with him.

I do not need to live in the usa to see a bad argument when I see one. Where as you having no rebuttal worth giving can only complain about my whereabouts.

you have yet to make a valid argument. You don't like the USA, you don't like our freedoms and guess what I don't give a damn.

ah the "I hate America" nonsense. we don't care

I have made plenty of valid arguments and they are usually met with the sad and pathetic meme that " You are trying to take our guns away." or one you might recognise, the old, " your not an american" or the even more pathetic and the good sign that you cannot think of an adequate rebuttal the old excuse of "I don't give a damn" Because rather than deal with the argument given you make excuses.

And you also make my argument to that, thank you. As I said, americans are bred to hate and fear that is why there country is so torn apart. You give us a good example of that as the only reason that can come to your mind is that I must hate.

Of course it is. To you at least but then you have been bred to fear and hate. So of course you would see that in others.
you're lying. I don't have any fear. I also don't sit around whining about another country's laws

Timothy McVeigh was the most effective American domestic terrorist since John Brown.

I know several tribal gun owners, not regular shmoes that just own a gun like they own a hammer, but hard core gun fetish types. I have never known one who did not live in fear; many so scared of the world they won't walk out of their own front door without being armed.

well who knows if you are telling the truth but plenty of gun advocates will note that they know hard core gun haters and those people are afraid of their own shadows. A police firearms trainer once told me that the chief was anti gun because he had to get a waiver since he couldn't pass the firearms qualification course. the trainer noted that the chief assumed private citizens were as incompetent as he was, and thus didn't want them to own or carry handguns. I think most gun banners or those who use the term "fetish" are afraid of their own lack of competence

Sorry. Wrong tree. Grew up with firearms in a gun rack in my room as a kid in rural Arkansas and Oklahoma. Been around firearms all my life. As far as competence, I shot expert every time during my service in the Army (M16 is an amazing weapon). While it has been a year since I took the Zoli out to shoot trap, I still keep it well maintained. You have to find another stereotype. Good luck!
