The stuff I have posted is true.

NO need to take my word for it, it is easily verified.
by who? not Massad Ayoob. not John Farnham or Manny Kapelsohn or David Bowie or John Proctor and most of the other top of the line defensive firearms instructors and experts. We have a guy who constantly posts nonsense and claims he is to be believed.

For home defense, an AR is a stupid choice.

Just a fact.
who backs you up on this? for what living arrangements? where is the home located.

Lol

The problem with gun culture today is that half the country is "conservative", and for them gun ownership is lipstick or Armani shoes. It is part of their identity. Their costume.

And as is always the way, there are people claiming to be experts making a killing by selling those fools whatever cosmetic crap they want to enhance their "conservative guy" costumes.

But if you want to know about real gun culture, look to people who have used guns as tools since before it became political, before it became part of the "conservative guy costume" even for guys that live in the suburbs or cities.

It isnt that hard.

You just have to look past the politics and the costumes.

I am still waiting for your credentials and your support for your claims for something I know is bullshit.

With Democrats in charge and the push for new gun control measures, what would be the next gun you purchased before any alleged gun control measures were passed, etc.? Why did you choose this weapon?

Just wondering.
A CZ short action in 222 rem. I don't hunt but I reload and shoot paper. One of the most accurate ever. I have a 22 hornet will love to compare.

Lets see

John Wesley Reid is a Marine veteran who, while on active duty, was assigned to an executive security team for Presidents Bush and Obama. He’s a qualified expert on the M4 rifle and the M9 pistol.

You forgot to sneer at the people who drive pickup trucks that you don't approve of.

You are a liar if you say I haven't supported my positions in detail.

The record, right here in black and white, proves you are lying.

So we are done.

But who am I?

I am one of the people who has been immersed in gun culture since long before it became political, and long before it became part of the "conservative guy" costume.

See ya, liar.

We are done.

All part of the same silly "conservative guy costume" that didn't exist before guns and trucks became so political.

You all will be embarrassed when you look back on it in a decade or two.

The idea of using trucks to stereotype some people is political.

I will admit that my truck is bigger than my wife's. :D

But you do park it in her garage.

But you do park it in her garage.
Heh. I see what you did there.

In actuality, my truck won't fit in the garage very well, and for some reason hers is the one that got to park there, at least until my Triglide took up that space.

No, actually its not.

Trucks have been part of blue collar working men's lives since they were invented.

Go to a car lot in your town.

You can't even buy a working man's truck anymore.

They are all crew cabs, and crap like that, basically luxury cars, with all kinds of suburban cosmetic crap that has nothing to do with working.

Why?

Because a bunch of weenies from the suburbs decided to where their pitch on their sleeve and buy a truck even though they dont need one.......they started buying trucks and guns to stamp their "conservative guy" card.

Trucks became part of the "conservative guy" costume.

So the manufacturers now tailer trucks these days to suburban luxury and grocery getting, not working men like it always had been.

Just look at a car lot.

My point is undeniable.

The reason many trucks are crew cabs is because they have largely replaced the full size, rear wheel drive, family sedan of days gone by. While being more versatile than those ever were.

My truck tows a 10000 lb camper and comfortably seats us and three grandkids. It has 4wd in case I get myself into a predicament at the boat ramp or out cutting wood. I can haul a 2000 lb load of gravel for my driveway or topsoil for the wife's garden. About the only thing it won't do is get good gas mileage, and I eventually got a little econo car for when I find that necessary.

But I'm not supposed to have such a versatile vehicle because you think it should be reserved for someone more deserving or something? My personal main vehicles have exclusively been pickup trucks for over 30 years. I'll stick with them whether it's alright with you or not.

that's the nice thing about a free (currently) nation. You buy what you want-be it a truck or an AR 15 and tell those who say you shouldn't have one to go pound sand

sure buddy. that's why the Secret Service, the USMS, the DEA and the FBI use them. I bet you cannot name a single person with a national reputation who would claim that. Its pretty much trolling

Buddy, home defense doesn't require what the FBI, Secret Service, or federal Marshals carry. Your pretentiousness is overwhelming.

Defend your home with a man's gun, give the invader a chance for the sport of it:

you're just trolling now. Its idiotic to suggest that is an ideal home defense weapon. Your posts' lack of honesty is legion

What are women supposed to defend their homes with?

Oh stop being so pretentious, it's really quite boring.
stop the baiting and the dishonesty. We both know that no one says a single action revolver is the ideal home defense weapon these days

Right.

Trucks used to be for rural people and for working men.

Hard to even buy a real Truck any more.

They are like mini vans with 4 wheel drive. Go to a suburban Costco, parking lot is full of 4 wheel drive luxury family cars that have never seen a dirt road.

It is all a pose.
