Love today is gentle closeness and tenderness.
It is sharing moments and glances.
It is being in the garden soil beside them and loving just the sense of care.
The smile that flashed across her lips when I leaned to kiss her cheek.
Love is all around me today and it means joy and wonder.
 
Love is when another person's happiness and well-being is essential to your own.
 
The most effective method within human capacity to rid ourselves of the pernicious feelings of loneliness we recurrently experience.
 
 
Love is a group of chemical processes in the brain. Its purpose is to encourage the subject to reproduce and to provide for the offspring, ensuring continuing life for the genetic material.

For animals perhaps. Sapient beings make choices and possess free will.


Life is more than chemistry. It is also poetry, art and feeling.
