What is your favorite Trump lie?

And so that makes it what? Not a lie? Guilt by association too, maybe? Or maybe you don't really have a point? Who knows?

Trump's entire campaign was a lie. You voted for a big government liberal as president because he told you he was going to build a wall. Congrats.

eh, I'd put him up there with Al Sharpton. probably means well, but does far more damage than any good he's ever done.

Trump pulled off the biggest political upset in U.S. history. That's making a statement. The only thing next to Obama's name in 100 years?:first black president(his two signature bills -obamacare and iran deal- will barely outlast his presidency). and by then it won't even matter. but stay in your bubble and keep telling yourself it's not true.

Trump's presidency will make Obama's look better in the long run.

Nope.

Though that is the caricature you want need to paint so that you may acclimate to being on such a sore losing side.

I feel your pain.

Which one is it?
Is it thousands of Muslims celebrating the attack of 9/11?
Is it millions of illegals voting for Clinton?
Is it the murder rate highest in 47 years?
Maybe the one about the size of the crowd at his inauguration?

So many to choose from. Which one is your favorite? Why?

I fondly remember the first (don't we all ?): the thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating 9/11. He saw it on tv. It's true. Really, it is. The lying press just wants to lie about it to us now.

Next would be that one that 3 Million illegals voted for Clinton. And what a coincidence! That's the same number of votes that Clinton got MORE than Trump in the popular vote. Life is funny that way. (Well, she got 2.9 or something more votes...and he thinks about 3 Million illegals voted. He would have to end up with more votes, you see.)

I think the Muslims celebrating by the thousands has to be my favorite. Some of the others just show his depth of stupidity (like the murder rate and illegals voting comments). His claim of seeing thousands of Muslims in the streets of Jersey City was just a blatant lie, and an unnecessary one too.

Trump is a fool.

My favorite lie is when he said "everyone will have insurance." His goal is to prevent people from having access to health care and signs an order to start the process. Then he says everyone will have insurance? Cool! Everybody is going to be richer and have the best health insurance and go to the best school, and we'll pay for it with deals! THE BEST DEALS IN TOWN!

Seriously though, what complete crap. I understand why people think they're safer from terrorism with Republicans in power. It's not true. But I can't understand why anybody would believe that Trump is going to give everybody health insurance.

Donald Trump: The unauthorized database of false things
By DANIEL DALE - Washington Bureau

Sure, all politicians lie. But Donald Trump is in a class by himself. He lies strategically. He lies pointlessly. He lies about important things and meaningless things. Above all, he lies frequently. Since he began his campaign last June, the Republican presidential candidate has subjected America to a daily barrage of inaccuracy and mendacity.
His rival, Hillary Clinton, has her own reputation for dishonesty. Some of it is no doubt earned: she has made false claims this campaign about her email scandal, about her flip-flop on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and about assorted other things. But our scrutiny shows there is just no comparison in their level of accuracy on the campaign trail. At the three presidential debates, for example, we counted 104 false claims for Trump to 13 for Clinton.

The extreme, unprecedented quantity of Trump falsehoods is why we started fact-checking everything he said. From mid-September through Sunday, we did 28 “#TrumpCheck” analyses of every word he uttered or tweeted in a given day. The total: 560 false claims, or a neat 20 per day. Below, find the complete list...

There's more to choose from since the press conference:

Did Trump really inherit a mess?
Did Trump have the biggest electoral college victory since Reagan?
Is his cabinet a fine tuned machine?
Do other countries have a tiny fraction of the regulations we have in the USA?

Is one of his new lies outrageous enough to supplant one of his older ones as a favorite? Hard to say. It's hard to beat thousands of Muslims celebrating in New Jersey.

Awesome post!

Want to know a secret? Trump inherited an economy that was outpacing the entire world, with real growth at 3.5%......

He lies because Americans believe him.

Actually, only a small percentage of American actually believe him and that number is falling. He need to focus on fear and intimidation to keep them from falling further.

Wow, this is like having to pick a favorite movie, song, or pizza chain......:)

"Obama likes me" is probably at the top of my list.

That is NOT going to sell at this point. Americans love this asshole, for the first time in eons they can now show their real attitudes and "let loose".

Trump is making America small again, as in petty, mean and vengeful. "He's not my president" is a stillborn idea. The leader of a country reflects the attitudes and morals of the nation.

It is far, far too late to say 'I'm not part of all that."

First result? As we here in Canada now find African immigrants so frightened they are walking across miles of frozen tundra to get out and get to Canada. Some have lost fingers and toes, one man is blind now. We have not seen anything like this since the days of slavery and the great underground railroad.

What Trump now does is America and to the world is Trump. Don't start whining now as the world is changing and fast. Jut yesterday: "I used to like Americans. I didn't realize how racist they are. I'd be happy if we blocked them and let everyone else in...they always complain anyway."

He's been in office one month. That is how the world's opinion of you has already changed..and he's got 47 more months to get to his real hates.

Sorry, but as in the Vietnam era, Americans are going to be the front line of the world's disgust.

Some Canadians remind me why we should also build a northern wall.
Your child leader loves immigrants....you love your child leader....so take ALL the immigrants. What's the problem?

ummm...let's try about 60% and rising. The rest are basically too lacking to figure out why they should....

Trump....Americas first real president since Reagan....maybe better

This is gonna be a VERY entertaining 8 years :lamo

Personally I like Trump's news conference claim of the largest Electoral College win since Reagan.
Peter Alexander corrects him and he issues new falsehoods. Back and forth in real time.
THAT was the best !

.

He got knocked off his game. Kudos to Alexander for calling him out. I liked his response saying that he was only recanting what somebody told him. I guess checking your info before speaking is another presidential lesson he has yet to learn.

Really, only two? The two you mentioned are good, but there are a lot more than two....OBAMA’S LEGACY: NEARLY 450 ACCOMPLISHMENTS, WITH CITATIONS

The biggest, Obama was born in Kenya

The popular vote scream for attention and validation is close, really close, but the "best" lie so far has to be...

“I know more about ISIS than the generals do. Believe me.”

Which is scary.

I've long tried to give the average person the benefit of the doubt. To presume they weren't that bad, regardless of doing stupid things like re-elect Congress at a 90% rate when they claim to hate them so much. But, seriously, this last election has me re-thinking that. Maybe people really are that dumb.

I don't think that it is "dumb" in all cases, as I work with many Trump voters that are good folks. They have good paying jobs, so they are not "disenfranchised" per say. They are just tired of the dysfunction and DC and wanted a change. With few exceptions, they all wanted another candidate and struggled heavily with their Trump vote. After a month in office, most of them are disappointed in Trumps inability to transition from campaigner to leader. They are starting to understand that you cant govern by tweets and executive orders.

My favorite is when Trump said that Hillary Clinton "acid washed" her emails. :lamo

Not the best one, but it highlights how ignorant Trump can be at times, its either ignorance or fibbing, take your pick, either way not great qualities in a CIC.
