What is the Trump administration's vision for the US?

The Trump administration has cut spending for social programs and benefits, cut environmental regulations, cut financial safety regulations, cut health care support, cut education support, cut civil rights protections, cut national forest and parks funding, disaster funding, food safety regulations and funding, cut air and water pollution regulations..... but he has increased the political and social power of conservative religion to increase population and institute religious controls.

What is his vision? What is it he wants to US to look like? With the exception of killing all cats because they were the familiars of witches this looks like a recipe for returning to the Dark Ages of Europe.
 
Trump wants to be a dictator. That's the "vision."

He doesn't care what it "looks like." He doesn't give a shit if the entire nation catches on fire. He's a narcissist. All he cares about is staying in power, so that people keep paying attention to him.

Trump's biggest motivator is getting the attention he never got as a child. He learned he could get attention by being an asshole. That lesson has stuck with him. He is addicted to attention. He must have it, have more of it, and he can never have too much.

Unfortunately, since Donald is addicted to getting attention, attention is actually the worst thing for him. All it does is encourage more asshole behavior to get more attention.

The best thing America could do would be to learn this and shun him.

He would positively melt down and go bonkers, but he's already a raving lunatic, so it wouldn't be a long distance trip for him. He's on the precipice of bonkers valley just waiting for a little puff of wind.

We must stop encouraging him. It's only going to get worse until he implodes into a blob of orange goo.

He gets richer.
 
I think he sees the presidency as a season of The Apprentice. He just sits there and gets to judge how everyone does- both domestically and internationally, and then gets to fire them at the end in dramatic fashion. And most of the people are light skin-toned. I don’t think he came into it with any grander vision than that.

This is just a rumor floating around, and I can't really confirm it, but I think that the administration's vision for the U.S. is

Make America Great Again.

Nearly a week ago Trump's lawyer, now serving as the DOJ's deputy A.G.. interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell. Trump's DOJ is keeping the interview from the American people.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's co-conspirator and confidant, was serving a 20-year prison sentence in Florida for her role in recruiting and trafficking minors for sex, was being held at a prison in Tallahassee, Florida, that housed men and women. On orders from Trump's DOJ, Maxwell was moved to a minimum-security camp for women in Texas on Friday.

Trump's DOJ has given no explanation for the unusual transfer.

Trump acted on impulse, and he made a very serious mistake.

He proved to the world that--when it comes to the global economy -- the United States can no longer be trusted. The President informed the world that economic statistics were manipulated for political reasons.

You can't. It's logical, and rational, based on available information, and critical thinking.

There's a lot of angst with logic and reason and critical thinking on this forum. So many people pretending to know about things that they don't, and then pretending that their own asinine comments somehow disparage intelligent and insightful ideas.

This phenomenon is known as the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
