According to NBC News, over half of Black men who identified as conservative voted for Trump, and in the Midwest, 1 out of 3 Black men voted for the President.
About 26% of Black men with a high school diploma or less voted for Trump, but 22% of those with bachelor’s degrees and 20% with advanced degrees supported him.

imo the primary purpose is to keep him away from the presidency completely.......and secondly to shine a light on the abysmal position of the GOP in general......I do not think they will ever prosecute him.......Trump is a threat to the nation and the to the Constitution.......but he is just the face of the issue.......conservative republicans in their 30's through their 50's with their embracing of white supremacy and religious nationalism are the real problem......they want to return America back to the 1950's and this can never happen...their acceptance of violence and open prejudice against anyone they disagree with or that they just plain don't like is straight out of Mussolini and Hitler's fascism of the 1930's ........and imo most those who support Trump are not educated in the history of the last century....I don't believe they have ever studied history.....they are the product of Fox news ........when 70 million people believe a man like Trump is what America should be and that he is the best person to lead our nation then we are in serious need of some real leadership....

The Dems are desperate to stop Trump. Moreover, they appear to be just as desperate to stop DeSantis because he is a Trumpian, populist attraction but is not as stupid as Trump and his loud mouth that won't shut up.

My goodness. After reading all of that I am afraid to tell anyone that I am a Republican who believes in Conservative ideals. If I tell anyone that, they might think I invaded the Capitol last year along with all of those other idiots who broke the law. Moreover, they might think that I believe the election was stolen from Trump and that Pence actually had the authority to reject the electoral votes on 1/6.

My hope and conviction is that there are still enough sane Republicans who believe the country does not need Trump and there will be other strong GOP candidates (e.g. DeSantis, Youngkin, Nikki Haley, Pompeo, Pence, etc) to lead this nation out of a recession and back to stability.
