These MAGAnaught posts are just unbelievable. No correlation to reality at all.

I just ran through a few pics on Twitter and it sure looked like the average age in these crowds was around 60! What happened to the protests where everyone was 18-25?

I think, for the most part, the people wasting their time on this do not know they are wasting their time...

As far as deterring Trump they are wasting their time.

But . . . maybe the number and size of the protests will wake up enough Republican Congress members to make a difference. If for no other reason than that the midterms are 12 months away.

You're a little late to the party. The Fox News bullshit has already been peddled.

Who do you mean? The ones posting the silly denials?

I think that a number of people involved are doing it for pay, and/or a desire to feel relevant (especially among what appears to be the elderly retired). Much like when it's time to vote, Democrats will go to retirement homes and solicit votes, or bus the elderly to polling places with instructions on who to vote for.

I thought you could back up the bullshit you were spewing.
Lol. Unlike you I do try to corroborate what I write.

All I know about cause and response is the Feds tried to clear the street to allow their vehicles to enter and leave. Portland police may have arrested one person. The protesters retreated a bit and returned. That's more than you seem to know.

Really? That's funny. You said they were ordered to disperse by a lawful authority.

I asked you who the lawful authority was and you said you didn't know. If that's the case, then how did you know it was a lawful authority?

Except that's bullshit.

ICE detained the one person arrested.

The march was peaceful. But the scene outside the ICE facility took a much darker turn as federal agents deployed tear gas on the crowd around 4:30 p.m. and detained at least one person over the course of the next hour.

So since you "know more than I know," who issued the alleged order to disperse?

why not push the limits? That is what he was elected for -those of us who support uprooting the corrupted unresponsive status quo
want someone to come in and toss out the DOJ/FBI creeps that committed a conspiracy in the Russian Hoax, or those who assign USAID money as a backdoor payment thru NGO

There is nothing worth defending in DC. Congress can't govern except thru crisis financing (Omnibus) it can't regulate one it passes legislation and it cant even debate how far we should get into a war. So POTUS can use the clearly outdated AUMF to fund Ukraine

No kings? Sure i'm good with that - but we don't have kings- just a corrupt oligarchy intent on re-election and not much else
Trump is a revolutionary figure not thru aquisition of power for it's own sake but to remake the stagnant Swamp
Yes, and he hasn’t made a dime through his presidency.

It's not a movement. It's a rank protest because that's all the Dems want . to put on a show and use the hackneyed TDS phrases like
"Fascist/authoritarian" and now "kings"..
Trump is effectively above the law. That would translate into several synonyms to "king". It also has a historical root as in George. In a sentence, he abuses the powers of the Executive, and acts outside of his powers continually.

If you aren't awake then we will move on without you.

Their agenda is to get in the way of ICE, who's agenda is to get rid of illegals,
Which wouldn't need the NG if ICE hadn't been converted into a paramilitary presence. That's on trump and Miller.

And I'm not saying ICE is perfect, they make mistakes, but they aren't out there to "kidnap brown people" as Pritzkzer claimed
In fact many out there demonstrating support illegal aliens
"Kidnapping" as the word is appropriate when no judge in any court decreed the sentence of deportation. I know three people affected by this and I know it's not just a newspaper headline, it's creating life changing events for ordinary people who don't have anything at all to do with drugs or gangs.

What seems worse is that the white house apparently has a quota so that they can announce x number of illegal aliens were deported.

The only time I ever demonstrated was against the Vietnam war. And it was hard core demonstration because lives were in the balance
This looked more like a saturday put on performance

I walked 6 hours in a March to free Mandela (87) in a curving maze through London to arrive at Trafalgar Square which was packed, to finally protest the South African Embassy. It was somber and quiet all the way until arriving the Square at the end.

There was peace today because no lives were in the balance. During that peace there was music. The music got loud but no one expected any harm.

The music got louder but there was still peace.

I had a good time. Didn't feel wasted at all.
Actually, I too, am feeling a bit deprived, though. The antifa folks must have arrived late - waiting in line for inflatable frog suits at Bimart, I suspect. And the Proud Boys? They probably could not find parking,

Next time I will assemble the "middle aged Ladies brigade" -- vs "the Proud Boys",
We are ready for you, lads, We have been working out! You should see my biceps.

Present were two lawful authorities: the Portland police and federal agents. Now you want to call BS because I wouldn't make up a story about which authority ordered the dispersal?

Yes, your link reports one person was arrested. Now why would the Portland police arrest that person?

How far beyond a federal structure does the federal government have protective jurisdiction? I don't know that either.

You gotta be kidding me, no actually yourself. No one has been paid.

There is joy in realizing that you are not alone in being completely alarmed- and on a daily basis- with what is happening to the suppression of laws and liberties in this country.

Amazing, isn't it, the lengths some will go to promote absolute nonsense?

Where is the argument here?

Can't we agree that for a march that qualifies as the largest nationwide march in a single day in U.S. history 7 million strong , at least, -was also amazingly peaceful !!

Yes. We can agree on that.

The article states that federal agents detained the man. I quoted the relevant bits.

Their authority extends to the edge of the property or the first public sidewalk or road, whichever is closer, in this context.

They have authority to detain illegal aliens wherever they are found, but in terms of general peacekeeping, they are restricted to the specific federal land or lease that they operate out of.

And that's just the major cities. I'm hearing numbers up to 12 million total, though I'd say it's closer to 9-10 million.
