Since there is no evidence that supports the theory of a supreme being, I would have to say Buddhism, and other faiths in which you are requierd to believe in reincarnation . . .

However, if I was asked what theistic religion was the more believable, I would say Islam . . . God being neither man nor woman, etc, makes more sense than the big "sky daddy" of Christianity.

I would have to say None of the Above.

No real evidence of reincarnation, either.

Which religion you find most "believable" is really a matter of what things you already believe; religious belief is a choice, whether you make it consciously or unconsciously.

Since there is no evidence that supports the theory of a supreme being....

Well sure there is.

All anyone can actually do is consider what science and faith offer, and apportion an individual measure of personal comfort. To ascribe our present circumstances with an absolute certitude in either methodology is simply impossible... as each person's portion of truth is both individualistic and unique.

You do know that the God of Islam is the God of Christianity, right?

He's also the God of the Jews.

He is the God of Jesus, of Moses and of Mohammed, as they all bought into the God of Abraham, hence the "Abrahamic" God.

God being portrayed as male is a matter of language, not forwarded fact.

Ah! As soon as I read your thread title, but before I read your post, I thought, "Buddhism".
I'm glad we agree.
Admittedly, I don't find any religion particularly believable, but out of the six major world religions that I've researched, I like Buddhism the best.

A few references:
Gregg Braden-No degree in physics, biology, chemistry or even astronomy. He is a computer geek/minister.
Dr. Dean Radin-Degree in electrical engineering. PhD in psychology.
Jeffrey Long-The link provided mentions nothing of the two Jeffrey Long's associated with either chemistry or botany
Kim Sharp-Is not the Kim A. Sharp who is a renowned biochemist and biophysicist. He is male. The writer of the NDE book is female.Stan Tenen
William Tiller, Ph.D-The first in your list who actually has a serious degree in a non-social or non-technical science. His site and bio mention nothing of 'proving' or even attempting to prove any entity existence.
Amit Goswami, Ph.D.-While he has a physics degree, this part of his bio: After a period of distress and frustration in his private and professional life starting at the age 38, his research interests shifted to quantum cosmology...makes his theories a bit suspect.
John Hagelin, Ph.D-Nothing in his work or bio suggests the supporting of a supreme being. If his personal belief is that there is one, it is not reflected in his studies or research.
Fred Alan Wolf, Ph.D-'Dr. Quantum, who answered a question thusly: Question: HIGHER BEING - Do you believe that we have a higher being that lives in a state of nirvana (nirvana being our natural state) who decided to come forth into this time-space reality as a means to experience contrast in an effort to understand our divine nature?

Answer: You are the being. Now answer the question for yourself.

AHHHH.....You got these names frome a movie called "What the Bleep Do We Know?" These people were incorporated into a psuedo-documentary(like Spinal Tap only serious) and interviewed as it pertains to the movie's setting.
Please....get some REAL info to support your claims:roll:

What the Bleep Do We Know was the worst bastardization of Quantum mechanics and metaphysics I have ever seen.

....which kind of gives you an idea of what we're dealing with here:doh
It 'starred' Marlie Matlin....not exactly a definitive documentation of proving 'god exists' through Quantum theories....
/me watches Dogma...at least Alanis Morrisette makes a fun God....*boop!*

Wow- I was waiting to see if anyone would get that, but you are one of the last people I would have expected.

A cookie for you, Jerry.

By the way, Evil Conservative Man- if you want to make a good non-oil investment, grab some P9. Going up by $2000 in the next few years together, I'm sure.

I was big into MTG in high school.....still have some cards around here somewhere....I had allot of capitol, too. Unlimited and Beta Moxes, Wheel of Time, Dijons, all the Elder Dragons from Legends.....I favored Black Necro-Discard decks with a splash of blue for counter spells cuz it irritated my opponents, made them disinterested in playing out 20 rounds, made them fold.

My wife proffers mono-red direct damage: her first kill occurs on turn 3-4, and she averages 4-5 kills by turn 12. No counter spells or protections of any kind, at all. Pull out a c.o.p. red and she casts multiple direct damage spells, only smaller. Makes you tap out. Makes you not summon the creature or cast that enchantment cuz you know you need manna for fuel that c.o.p.

I once had a mono-green deck that had the entire 60 card library cast, on the table, in 10 rounds. It could never win a tenement, though...it didn't really have any offensive power.

It was an expensive deck, too... Force of Nature, Berserk, Mox Emerald....pricey...

When we played in teams, usually 3 on 3, my best friend and I would build decks that did nothing but counter spells, un-summon creatures, heal, etc. and my wife would pull out her mono-red deck....oh man....

Play any Eberron?

I used to play Magic too; my husband and I would participate in tournaments at the comic book shop down the street. I had a red-green-white deck (only a couple of white cards) that was well nigh unbeatable.
The reason I had such a good deck was that a guy who was temporarily staying with us once robbed a comic book shop, and stole a big photo album they had, full of really expensive rare Magic cards. And he gave some of them to us.
That's all my husband and I did, for about two years back in the mid-nineties, was play Magic. But then I lost interest in it, sold most of my good cards and gave the others away.

The last time I got a Beta Black Lotus it was @ $300.......1,200 now....and it only cost Wizards @ 25 cents to make....

To get back on topic; SPOONISM! The spoon is real! (Dont belive the atheist lies of the matrix, godless hedens)

I don't mean to slam spooning, but when you accept the truth you realize that it is you that changes.

And Behold! I See a pale horse and he that sat on him upon him was a matrix heathen!

The devil that is called”he who eats with his fingers”,”he of bad table manners”, the dirty one, “father of canapés” and “the dark one” has gotten to you son. I can only pray that thou wilst find the righteous path again.

Dark utensils will not avail you, spoon of SPOONISM!

No verifiable evidence. Both sites are just selling books.

Nothing but anectodal stories.

More anectodal stories.

Bible Code???? You can't be serious...

From what I saw, he starts with the assumption that the soul and the spiritual exist.

Zero information.

About Transcendental Meditation, nothing to do with the possible existence of a god.

Another site selling books, including: The Yoga of Time Travel: How the Mind Can Defeat Time. Which tells you how you can time travel just with the power of your mind...

No information other than Dr. Albert is a professor of philosophy.

Something about "the mystery of water"...

How does a discussion about the quantum theory of consciousness relate to the existence of a god?

More Bible Code...

Do you even bother to check the links that you post?

Here's the extent of the information on this link:
"JEFFERSON - MYRNA BRIND CENTER OF INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE

Staff/Contact Info

Daniel A. Monti, MD, Executive and Medical Director

Dr. Monti is Executive and Medical Director of the Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Monti is a nationally recognized expert on mind-body medicine, and he recently has been awarded a large research grant from the National Institutes of Health to study the effects of stress, stress reduction, and Mindfulness-Based Art Therapy, in cancer patients.
"

How do you think that is offering anything to support the existence of a god????

A Chiropracter????

Also, virtually no information except for how to buy his books and DVDs.

And, again, no information except for how to buy her books and CDs...

And, I must ask you again, do you even bother to check the links that you post? Not one of them had any information about the possibility of the existence of a god. I'm guessing that you got the list from somewhere else and just copied it.

Most of them exist almost solely to try to sell products...

No real evidence of reincarnation, either.

Interesting comments. What do you think would constitute real evidence for reincarnation?

Sorry, I didn't mean to start the traditional "prove God exists" debate, only to show that there is evidence enough to make the assumption of God reasonable. You won't find much evidence in a freely accessible way because of the bias in favor of Atheism/Humanism in academia.

Here is one that hasn't been silenced yet, I hope it's to your liking.

Biocybernaut Institute.

Even Matthew Alper is permitted to make some money off of a few books, so I hope that you don't find capitalism a flaw.
