We will call this the "What If?" experiment:

What is the point of what-if when we have the actual facts in hand? Why not just deal with them unless your purpose is to slant them and insinuate something.

But go ahead

What If GWB did indeed order the release of information, and declassified said information with the intent of placing a political opponent in a bad light?

OK the fact is the President release information to discredit false information being stated as fact by one Joe Wilson. Joe Wilson along with the aid of his wife was engage in committing a fraud on the US for the porpuse undermining the foriegn policy of the US. The President did the proper thing and release the truthful information so that we the people could deal with the truth instead of lies. It had nothing to do with politics from the stand point of the Administrationm, it did for Joe Wilson.

What If he then claimed he would fire anyone involved in what was termed a "Leak", in a public statement, and later rescinded/adjusted the comment to make likely action unneeded?

In fact he said leaks of classified information or criminal acts so why create a phoney what-if?

What If the President, or Vice president are actually forced to testify under Oath, and the results are detrimental to the administrations continued place of power?

We know what happened and it is not detrimental so why what-if something that is not reality?

So you just had a need to get that off your chest? Feel better now?

Here's a little quiz. What DP member runs off and never returns to a thread once he's backed into a corner?

(Jeopardy music plays......)

Time is up. What's your answer?

Oh My....did I just get called out?

Say it ain't so KC, even better say it IS.

The conservative mindset is extremely limited at this point, due to the need to defend what is becoming clear to a majority of Amercans, if not the entire world. The Administration in power here in the United States has made quite a few poor descisions which have resulted in....shall we just say disaster, for the country on many levels. These limitation are manifest in the inability to accept any flaw the leadership shows, and denial of what to most are obvious discepencies in the information given to the public served by the administration.
If in fact top officials are ever placed in a situation that requires legal truth telling, on any number of issues facing them, it will likely result in purgery or pleading executive power protection. The case facing Mr. Libby at this time is an example to take to heart, whether you decide to accept that or not is irrelevant, as is it would seem, the direction your posting style has taken.
Truthfully at one time I did see quite a bit of promise in the rebuttals and data you gave to the board, but as things have progressed downward for the President and his cabinet, much of your posting has lost substance and instead focused on either Bashing Clinton to avoid talking about Bush....or simply reverting to insults of your opponent.
This has unfortunately led me to defer comment in most threads you post in, as the results are virtually the same each time. As I have neglected to follow your reply trail for quite some time perhaps I missed the thread where you actually admitted Bush might just have made a few bad descisions.....but I doubt this has happened. The thing is....you are just as bad as the freakin' Clinton apologists were a decade ago, and I watched them make fools of themselves the whole time as well.
My point is simple....you are a hypocrit. Claiming superiority over those who protect Mr. Clinton....and all the time lying to yourself about the deficiencies of your own guy. I see no point in beating this horse.....it died a couple months ago.

Relax, Cowboy. I wasn't referring to you. In fact, I can't say I know who you are. Yes, there are things this President has errored on. Yes, I have said so on many occassions when warranted. No, I rarely discuss Clinton, unless someone is confused as to why he was impeached (it was lying under oath, not oral sex). Thanks for your in depth analysis, but my horse is alive and well, thanks.

Anyone else wanna give the quiz a try? :)
