What has Trump done well?

Which of these things has Trump done well?

Given the current state of the country, what would you say Trump has done well according to the top reasons people vote?

Thus far, he's avoiding seducing and engaging in sexual intercourse with his daughter.

Gotta give him that one.

I agree with Trump with immigration, although not with his Wall.

I'm the same way.

But in a choice between someone who's overprotective, and someone who wants people flooding in in a chaotic, unregulated manner, I'm going with the guy who's overprotective.

And Harris comparing ICE agents to KKK members is over the top.

Most Democrats do not acknowledge that a high rate of immigration interferes with nearly everything else they want to achieve. A diverse work force is more difficult to organize into labor unions than a homogeneous work force. By increasing the U.S. population immigrants deplete the environment. By competing for jobs immigrants enable employers to lower wages. By competing for places to live immigrants enable landlords to raise rents. As more non whites move to the United States more whites vote Republican.

If liberals feel it is necessary to take in hundreds of thousands of new people each month, fine. But L. A. is crowded enough. So is Miami, so is San Diego, San Francisco, Houston, Dallas, etc. There is no more room. The economy of these areas will tank.

If people need to move here this badly, why not mandate that they live in places where we still have room for more people. Such as Montana. Or Alaska.

Have to disagree with you there. Donald Trump is a knee-jerk partisan reaction from the right wing to the two-term presidency of Barack Obama, plain and simple. Trump was elected for no other reason than because he embodied the hatred that the right wing cultivated in their followers for Democrats, liberals, and progressives. The hatred you see from the left is no more than a reaction to this hatred that was stirred up by hateful GOP propaganda. Hate breeds hate, and choosing a president based on his hatred of your American brothers and sisters tends to have the political effect you are living through this election season. The left is going to hit back, and they just may hit back harder than you did in 2016.

Completely serious, driven Democrats insane, to the point where they are on the side of rioters and anarchists against the police.

I'll bet you wouldn't feel that way if it was your neck being kneeled upon by a law enforcement officer who to this point hasn't even told you the reason you're in the position you are. You're right, that does drive reasonable people crazy. I guess for others it's ok?

Lay off the weed bongs. If you think the "peaceful protestors" in Seattle and Portland today give a flying **** about your pal George, it's time to think again.

I might like to say he does well at dividing us, but I really don’t think he has succeeded, as most Americans, most of his supporters, are far better people than he assumes we are.

We'll see come november how america feels about you law and order types compared to the rioters the right keeps talking about. We'll see if people side with the cops or the dead black man.

The Democratic Party is dividing us, by insisting we uproot our entire history and move towards a socialist state. This began under Obama, long before Trump took office.

The Trump victory signaled America’s attempt to win itself back. Trump is a reaction to the division, not a cause of it.

We have been moving towards a socialist state since way before Obama, since Teddy Roosevelt and anti-trust and National Parks, since FDR and the New Deal, since LBJ and Medicare. Yes, Teddy tried to uproot the history of the Gilded Age of robber barons, FDR tried to uproot the absurd historical notion that capitalism works perfectly, and LBJ recognized the history of the 20th century, as we joined developed nations with things like food assistance and medical programs for the poor and elderly. Heck, socialism began way back on July 26, 1775 with the establishment of the post office. (Note that Fidel Castro's movement is called the "26 of July" movement. Coincidence? I think not.)

By “We” do you mean the United States or the Democratic Party?

If you’re assuming that socialism is what’s best for the country, this is what’s dividing the nation in two, the Trump movement is a backlash to it.

no ,your filthy comment was

Oh wow! You replied to a reply! Usually you just slink off. Trump is disgusting when he objectifies his daughter as a sex object, which he has done many times. Is that just fine with you?

First, Teddy Roosevelt was a republican. Second, do you really believe that Trump supporters voted for him because they wanted to get rid of Social(ist) Security and Medicare? We are all socialists, except on different subjects. Why, tomorrow I will take the socialist interstate highway to get a medical test administered by professionals who went to government-supported medical schools and may prescribe socialistically regulated drugs for problems they may find. Trump himself has promised a better ACA, which program he will reveal any day now. Does that make him a socialist? I guess so.

What socialist programs benefit you?

I believe 100% that Trump was elected as a backlash to Obama's socialized healthcare policies. Especially in the Swing States.

Obama, unintentionally, divided the country in two as a result of his far-left socialist agenda. Trump was simply a reaction to it.

What was his far left socialist agenda? The ACA, which is increasingly popular, a program without a public option that wa similar to GOP proposals? The Paris agreement, in which just about all the countries in the world agreed to voluntarily try to deal with climate? That he didn’t insult Mexicans, Central Americans, Muslims and women? That he didn’t lie about refugee processing? That when he blew it with his comments about a cop and a black scholar, he invited both of them to meet.
