I'm not a fan of the fathers that make or leave single moms.

Well, women generally don't need men. Living together isn't easy and now that the sexes are equal women have as much oppertunity as men. So in many cases I don't think it's father's leaving in all cases.

The problem in Japan is economic first and foremost. If things were better in Japan economically for young men then a large part of that problem wouldn't exist. As for women in the middle east, well, I have always found myself surprised by their reactions.

I figured you would go with the lack of reporting argument. Your argument sounds more like speculation to me though. While there might have been less reporting of mental illness in the past or in other countries that factor alone doesn't nessarcily make up the difference. One of the big arguments that feminists wanted to be true was that traditional relationships/roles made women less happy, but statistics on this just don't work out. Study after study shows women prefer traditional relationships and roles and so do men. The only argument feminists really have left is that those studies turn out that way because of culture, which to me sounds like a desperation argument at this point.

Even when looking at attraction feminists are wrong. It is assumed by feminists that they can change what men and women find attractive, but to the most part that has proven itself false. Men still find what is seen as traditional femininity the most attractive and women still find what is seen as traditional masculinity the most attractive. The only thing they really have been able to do is craft society around ideas on subjects such as masculinity, femininity and relationships around the most unappealing things for the vast majority of people. If you're asking me why I think society should follow a more traditional view my answer is because it works and is what the majority of people would prefer.

Well that would certainly make a relationship become toxic but there are other things as well. The most common reason people split up is financial.

I do know women that have a tendency to break up with men after a short while. Out of curiosity I asked why they broke up and it's almost always the same reason. He's annoying. Meaning he's needy (I asked and condensing the discussing to just the main point he's needy you know Hou ladies explain things.) The reasons they say that is mostly because the guys they date are always seeking their approval instead of just being themselves. It seems the women I have these discussions with are more interested in a partner than an admirer. Knowing guys as I do, I get the issue. It's just being a man I'm able to communicate with men easier than women are. It's kind of ingesting I've inadvertently helped a couple that is now married happily through a little drunk talk with the husband.

I've been going to one of these neighborhood fitness places since my job has become mostly sitting at a desk after 35 years as a blue collar working person. I'm about 10 lbs overweight and it seems like I cannot cut back enough on my food portions to compensate so I'm now working out 5 days a week.

I've gotten to know some of the guys down there a little, just shoot the breeze a little before and after ect. I noticed this young kid, probably 21 or so doing this odd workout. Running on the treadmill full out with it set on it's steepest angle. It looks like a nightmare to me. And then he rests for 10 mins or so and goes back at it. I mean he really hits it. I asked him if he's a hockey player or something, figuring he working on his explosive energy or short speed burst ability. Something my boys would have done when they were playing hockey. He says "no, I'm trying to shape my butt"

I stopped in my tracks and looked at him and said before I could bite my tongue "WTF dude, do I look like the kind of guy you want to say something like that to?" And all these people burst out laughing.

Now if the dude wasn't punking you, you didnt even know it and was serious I can fully admit that I myself have never done any exercises to shape my butt but that's me. I don't know what this guys goals or wants are. More importantly what type of guy are you? meaning what type of dude do you look like that shouldn't get an honest answer to a question you asked. LOL

Lastly I can also admit that I to see SOME teens and 20 somethings that do things I dont really relate to because most people go through this Im not sure how this EVER had an effect on you,.
