My guess is, Congressman GoNadler launches another investigation.

Nothing Mueller says will make the left happy.

Maybe they will riot and loot the House.

I do wonder if he will refuse to answer republicans questions and just say “it’s under investigation”.

The investigation is over. I suspect he will be straightforward, refuse to share his own opinions, and merely quote his report verbatim.

I don't think it will happen, but I would love to hear Mueller quote Tom’s character:

What should happen is Congress should do their damn job, and recognize that they screwed up by not having a full investigation as an option, and use the information Mueller did gather to pursue an impeachment inquiry. What Republicans should do is follow the law and defend democracy, which is a laughable idea given how opposite of that they are.

The Mueller investigation was rigged from the start, the administration investigating itself - not the historic independent investigations like Watergate and Iran-Contra or even the corrupt Clinton investigations, but a very limited prosecutor on a tight leash who was under the control of the president's appointed AG or his deputy, whose report went to the AG, not Congress or the people, who had no power to say the president was accused of anything.

It wasn't useless, though - he DID uncover a ton of evidence in the narrows he looked into, including overwhelming evidence of trump's guilt on obstruction even though he felt he couldn't say so.

One question I'm looking forward to in the hearing, is Mueller being confronted by Barr's statement that Mueller was free to indict trump.

We'll hear otherwise.

Depending on the question, Mueller very well could use the restrictions that the DOJ reminded him of to avoid answering them.

Those restrictions work against both sides.

Wait...what? Mueller was on a "tight leash"?

That's a crock of...nonsense.

There were NO restrictions placed on Mueller and his team. In fact, he was allowed to engage in some very questionable tactics in the course of his investigation such as trying to plant evidence on PapaD so they could threaten him with FARA violations if he didn't roll over on Trump. And the stuff they did to Manafort were downright disgusting. The fact that Mueller failed in both cases doesn't absolve him of unethical...possibly illegal...actions.

I was watching him on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace and he pretty much said exactly that, and that the investigations were already going on, regardless of what Mueller says or doesn't say. But, they will try their best to twist and spin what Mueller does say.

The investigation is not over. Come on let’s be transparent. I want to know what started the investigation. I want to know why we had to spend 26 million if there was no credible evidence to start an investigation. The politicians need to make sure this does not happen again.

Yes, of course. I wouldn't expect anything less out of GoNadler. :)

Best thing the Dems could do is ask about the ten instances of obstruction mentioned in the report. As noted by others, people won’t read the book but will watch the movie of Mueller describing the actions he reported.

Really?
Do you think Mueller is a loyal republican? Maybe you think he supports Trump. What about the attorneys Mueller hired? Perhaps they were Trump loyalists.

Grab the popcorn and beer and watch the whack-a-loons go wild. :)

Why would "leftists" need to be involved if Mueller lies?

My guess is, Congressman GoNadler launches another investigation.

Oh, I see! You don't care about the truth. You don't care what Trump has done. You don't care about what that means to your country. You just want a political victory.

I suppose that helps explain why you support Trump.

This is the only government endeavor, in my life-time, that has turned a profit, c’mon, man!

Funny. Because now Mueller wants his own lawyer present probably because Weissman wrote the report with little in put from Mueller. Mueller could be facing his own perjury trap from the Republicans and he is too slow and aged to side step it.

There is nothing in there that wasn't already known and already played up by the media.

Won’t match clips of Mueller saying the president did thus and so, and Dems asking questions about the 10 incidents. Trump and the AG brilliantly played the “no collusion” bit, “no obstruction” will be harder cause it’s clearer. Then again, democrats can screw up anything as with the exception of AOC, they screwed up the Cohen testimony.

AOC and the Squad will go on more late-night talk shows and be on more magazine covers.

It pays to be a pretend martyr. They are so ethereal.

And a nice Condo in Trump Tower too. I hope to get my weekend there sometime in 2028.
