What happened to them, they were at everything they could stick their nose in or throw molotov cocktails and bricks at, then they suddenly went near silent. There are many possibilities, my theory is that there was a combination of events, the first being the govt admitting they were organizations prone to and committing terrorist acts dating back to obama, there is also the last two major riots to be fizzled out when police took a no mercy stance and had police snipers ready. There is also the fact wray the directer of the fbi has admitted antifa groups are under current investigations, saying antifa as an ideology iws not, but quite of few of the antifa groups are.

So in short, what happened to them, and why.

It's not really hard to see why.

Antifa never represented any coherent organization or unified ideological front. It was a collection of quasi like minded groups operating under a general anti-fascist umbrella. It was never going to last in the form it took.

From what I saw most of the groups were made up of kids (young adults for the PC police and grammar nazi's). The moment things started to actually get hot against them they realized that their futures didn't look so good and their corporatist greed sunk in and gave em a bitch slap up side the brain.

In a sense I kind of agree, they were not well organized, even though many of the groups actions fell under the definition of terrorism. They lived under an umbrella of police and politicians not willing to do anything against them, and that umbrella was yanked away from them. Organized crime functions with or without the state cooperating, as does terrorism and even simple protest groups function through some form of leadership, this almost seems like their entire plan was to hope that no one would take notice to their actions or prosecute them for it.

Kinda like OWS.

Its winter. And their Mom's basement is warm.

.....trouble in transit, got through the roadblock, blended in with the crowd......

Protesting isn’t as popular during the winter.

Given the last year and a half, they seem to protest more in winter and hide in summer, being winter is during school time and many are college students, and during summer they are separated from the college community many of them organize in, plus wearing all black must not be comfortable in the summer heat.

It looked to me that after Charleston plus some cop assassinations police departments decided that that was enough of that.

I have not researched this.

Soros doesn’t need them any more so he stopped finding them so the paid infrastructure moved on.

Soros is one of the boogeymen right wingers flock to whenever things get bad for their president and political party. Antifa was an obsession for right wingers for a brief period when their political masters told them they were bad. Now that right wing media doesn't talk about antifa anymore, your average GOP voter has already forgotten who they are, and moved on back to their usual boogeymen, Obama, Soros, Clinton's, etc.

I don't know where they went to, but I hope they stay the hell there!

DNC fund raising isn't as robust as they though + Return on investment wasn't worth it.= that branch of of the DNC is done for now.

Yup. There never really was an "Antifa" as perceived.

Their message was being drowned out by their violence.
Their tolerance message was destroyed by their intolerance.

They are still around but so far there hasn't been anything to give them cause to assemble.

They were highly disorganized and only drawn together by their hate for people that didn't
Believe like them. Not a solid base

Mainly, most of them were not like the Portland group, and not like the folks that went to charlottesville. The people in the various loose groups do not want to be associated with those kind of tactics.
