What End of Bush Tax Cuts Means for You [W: 1475]

My company went out of business in 2007...I went on to clean houses and my husband went to Louisiana and worked off shore tearing down oil rigs until the explosion...he then came back to Washington and collected unemployment while looking for employment...we were one check away from unemployment ending when Obama extended benefits....within two months of the extension, my husband gained employment.

As to the Bush Tax cuts, Ill repeat the same question of the other poster....why are they set to expire?

I said post the numbers, post the budget total and the actual spending. You asked before for the numbers on employment, you got them, so return the favor or accept that you are wrong.

We can go there again but it serves no purpose. You know why they are set to expire but all this does is give you another reason to divert from your failed ideology. How you do you think a 2 year gap looks on a resume?

But let me guess , never for a moment did you ever give GWB credit to hold the economy together post 9/11 only to see Pelosi and Reid work to destroy it for their putrid agenda of hatred of GWB..

Aw yes, such low standards in your world. What would you be saying today if Bush was in office, added 5.2 trillion to the debt in 3 plus years and had a net job loss, fewer employed, and 23 million unemployed/under employed Americans along with 968,000 dropping out of the labor force?

You want to see a depression.. take the cuts away.. and maybe your hubby will be lookign for work again.. becasue you sure have no clue on how the econmy works and how a sub s corp works..which is the backbone of the country...

PS: at best your hubbys check will be smaller.. hows that feeling?

Conservative, your very own GOP heroes set it up so the Bush tax cuts will expire...you cant pin this on democrats...accept it.

Just another example of a very poor civics understanding. A sunset had to be put into the tax cuts to prevent a Democrat fillibuster. Lady you don't have a clue
