I have seen enough people saying what they WANT the government to do, but I want to know what you don't want them to do and I don't intend for people say what they want the gov. to do by saying what they don't want them to do. i.e. "I don't want my gov. to ignore the problem on the borders."

I'll start.

I don't want to pay into social security I'm never going to see. I don't want Uncle Sam's hand in my money because he wants to give it to people that don't want to support themselves. I don't want to pay high school taxes for someone else's children, I don't want to pay for a war I don't believe in. I don't want tax rebates on inane things. I don't want rebates on charity donations, that's why it's called DONATIONS. I don't want to pay for everybody's healthcare. I don't want the government telling me what kind of car to drive, what kind of food to eat, whether or not to smoke or drink.

I dont want the government.....

1. To get involved in mindless wars of death and destruction that do nothing to protect the United States and her territories

2. To steal tax money that is used to operate the government and give it to other countries under the banner "foreign aid"

3. To have all sorts of bases in other countries when the fact that the Cold War is over and the Soviet Union died over 20 years ago

4. To restrict as a business on where I get my products from under the guise of nationalism

5. To steal my money and redistribute it under the guise of "helping people"

6. To force me to pay for healthcare for everyone else

7. To restrict my right to own firearms and protect myself under the guise that something bad might happen

I am more concerned about keeping Neptune happy, myself.

I dont.

1.) Want an imperialistic foreign policy kinda like we have right now in the US.
2.) Flat tax rate and tax cuts for the rich and giant corporations.
3.) A casino where it can crash at anytime (wall street)
4.) A group of selected individuals selecting the president.
5.) Term limits
6.) A government that can spy on me.
7.) I dont want a draft.
8.) I dont want my government not have a chance to help their own citizens out.

I don't:

1. Want the government in my bedroom with respect to consensual adult relationships.
2. Want the government to tell me whom I cannot marry. (I'm not talking polygamy.)
3. Want the government in my womb.

That's a start and I've already seen a few others posted, but not these.

I don't want a government of only two ruling parties.

I don't want a government that gives elected officials incredible lifetime perks.

I don't want a government that is listens to corporations instead of citizens.

I don't want a government that can't go to jail for breaking the law.

2. Want the government to tell me whom I cannot marry. (I'm not talking polygamy.)

just to point out, that means that you do want the government to tell you whom you can't marry. specifically, you want the government to tell you that you can't marry people who are already married, or in the process of also marrying another.

as for what I want the government not to do, the list is too long to post. I think I'll go with the Founders on this one, who wisely solved the problem by passing the 10th Amendment: "If we didn't specifically say that you can... then you can't.

My bad, grammar that is. :D

I don't want my government to:

1. Enter in needless, useless wars

2. Give tax breaks to people who don't need it

3. Look out for corporations rather than the American people

4. Fund governments that kill their own people or other people

5. Maintain military bases all over the world for no real reason

6. Erode the civil liberties of its citizens

7. Kill innocent civilians

8. Disrespect domestic law

9. Disrespect international law

10. Lie to the American people

11. Ignore the concerns of its citizens

12. Bail out corporations that screwed themselves over

I'll post more later.
