Please don't tell me you dog-ear the pages....

I had a bookmark made with my name on it. I got it from an Etsy seller. You?

Dog-ear. Unless it's something important to me, I buy paperback and I dog-ear,

I just remember what page I'm on.

Never got that.. still have to flip to the spot.

Was into 'neat' bookmarks when I was young, then I realized a torn piece of paper was free. ;)
Really don't read a whole lot anymore these days though. At least not novels and such.

Really? I'm not sure I've ever heard of someone doing that before.
I can usually remember, if not the page, at least the chapter, then I flip through till I find the spot.

Sometimes I'll just use whatever is lying around. I was reading after school one day and didn't have my bookmark so I just used a piece of a sentence strip.

I don't think I could remember a specific page number. A chapter, maybe.

Back when I used to read physical books, I had a brass bookmark.

Similar to this...

Nowadays, my tablet remembers where I left off.

I'm with you, a tiny scrap of paper works fine! If there's no paper available (there always is) it's the old dog ear all the way! :D

You could always just flop it face down...

A business card from China. It has my name etc in English on one side, Chinese on the other.

I have a box of 500 left over so may as well use them up.

Ticket stubs from BC Ferries. I take the ferry to town weekly (at least) and the slips they give you are the perfect long, rectangular shape.
Thinking about it now, I realize this is because whatever I'm reading at the time comes with me for the line-up and ferry ride.

You are stocked for life to have many manuals with necessary pages bookmarked.(y)
