What do you think of this store manager?

I have to say this is weird.
Who calls a store to demand their employees wear a mask?
I'm sensitive to light, perhaps I can demand they dim the lighting for me.
I get high blood pressure when I see the inflationary prices in the stores. Perhaps they will lower the prices for me.

I did not demand that they wear a mask, I asked if they would and they said they would. And my wife did not go with me, but if you know anything about covid, especially Omicron, I could get enough from contact to take it home to my wife. And maybe if you have high blood pressure you should not be on this message board as it will certainly make it higher.

I did not take my wife and would not. If I contacted someone with Omicron, I could take it home to my wife. If I and they both wear masks it would be reasonably safe.

Yet you did not just leave immediately? Why enter the store if the employees and customers aren't already wearing a mask? No chance of purchasing something contaminated?

Right
So when you go to any store, gas station, work, any place when you leave the house, you ask people to wear a mask. Call them the day before to make the request.
If you know anything about Omicron, you will know that cloth masks don't stop the spread. And neither do the vaccines.
Next time, both you and your wife should lock yourself in the house and have the store deliver it to you. If they don't deliver, a third party company or a friend or a relative will.
