do you like Kafka?

i like him

I have, of course, heard of him.

But his writings are too complicated for a stupid person such as I to understand.

So I have never, ever read a single sentence of his.

I was 14-15 when my father introduced me to Kafka, to try and read his books.

Before that, I used to read almost 2-3 books a week - after Kafka, I think I maybe read 1-2 books every year until I came across things like Tolkien etc which I read within a month.
Now, I think I mainly read technical manuals / how to's etc now but Kafka took away my love of reading.

The last long-form writing for the sake of writing I must have read was 1995.

we celebrate 100 years of Kafka!
