What do you do when you don't like the jobs numbers? Fire the Director of Labor Statistics

It is fact. It is not simply not possible to “rig” the numbers. There is too much data, too many steps, and too many separate groups of people involved.

Do illegal aliens have jobs in the US? Yes
Does the BLS separate jobs lost from illegal aliens from jobs lost by legal employees. No.
Therefore some of the recently unemployed workers are illegal aliens.

The reason he gave is false or at least false on its face as he gave no evidence to support it.

Thus, CNN’s reporting is both accurate and relevant.

Does removing a worker remove a job? No.
If half the employees at Disneyworld died today, would the jobs die with them? No.
Therefore, deporting people has no effect on jobs.

So if all jobs in the US were filled by illegal aliens and every illegal alien was deported, then we would have 100% employment with nobody working?

Jobs numbers have nothing to do with migration - illegal, legal or interstate.

If half the workers at the Atlantis Steak House get deported, the resort hires replacements. If people quit, die, go to jail, move or get deported, the jobs remain.

You're trying to rationalize poor job numbers with nonsense.

And do you know how many of the jobs gained or lost were taken by illegal aliens?
