What do you do when you don't like the jobs numbers? Fire the Director of Labor Statistics

Matters are getting worse, and those Americans who chose this government are silent or in denial.

Except for the 24th, the DOW has been in negative territory every day of this past week.

Trump has no idea what he is doing. As a consequence, the global economy is shattered, and the stock market is plunging. Millions of Americans have lost a lot of money this week.

All the markets are down today. The DOW lost 542 points.

Trump on Friday ordered the firing of the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, hours after a stunning government report showed that hiring had slowed down significantly over the past three months.

Trump wants to erase history. The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History removed a board that referenced President Donald Trump’s two impeachments from an exhibit on the American presidency.

Nearly a week ago Trump's lawyer, now serving as the DOJ's deputy A.G.. interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell. Trump's DOJ is keeping the interview from the American people.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's co-conspirator and confidant, was serving a 20-year prison sentence in Florida for her role in recruiting and trafficking minors for sex, was being held at a prison in Tallahassee, Florida, that housed men and women. On orders from Trump's DOJ, Maxwell was moved to a minimum-security camp for women in Texas on Friday.

Trump's DOJ has given no explanation for the unusual transfer.

Trump acted on impulse, and he made a very serious mistake.

He proved to the world that--when it comes to the global economy -- the United States can no longer be trusted. The President informed the world that economic statistics were manipulated for political reasons.

And he does not think he has to. He does not think that he is accountable for anything.(OR to ANYONE...... including the voters) One can be justified in thinking that there is a LOT that the public is prevented from knowing.

“That’s why that” defense of Trump’s firing the BLS Commissionsr “is so stupid” since there is a reasonable expectation Trump has or will produce evidence for his claim that the BLS commissioner produced “phony” data and he fired her because of the “phony” data. After all, the comment you replied to “that’s all he needs,’is belief” was a derisive statement about Trump that he’s acted to terminate the BLS commissioner because of the poor reason he disliked the data, the allegation of “phony” data is invoked to obscure and fool. People have perceived that to have occurred, hence the rational notion of Trump to produce evidence for his allegations.

But it is adorably tragic you twisted the statement to defend Trump.

He made a decision. He acted on it. And she is gone.

I was just informed that our Country’s “Jobs Numbers” are being produced by a Biden Appointee, Dr. Erika McEntarfer, the Commissioner of Labor Statistics, who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala’s chances of Victory. This is the same Bureau of Labor Statistics that overstated the Jobs Growth in March 2024 by approximately 818,000 and, then again, right before the 2024 Presidential Election, in August and September, by 112,000. These were Records — No one can be that wrong? We need accurate Jobs Numbers. I have directed my Team to fire this Biden Political Appointee, IMMEDIATELY. She will be replaced with someone much more competent and qualified. these wild swings in recalculations are to the point jobs reports not even useful the month they come out. Then when 2 months in a row job gains are virtually wiped out, with this month's poor numbers as well the calculating is not useful, actually detrimental
Trump is correct, whether the process is politicized or not -it's worthless and misleading. Fix it

It does make a difference to his reputation and legacy: the reasons he gave were patently false and cannot be proven fact.

This is objective truth we're talking about here. He is not believed because he has not spoken the truth. He is the president of the united states. It matters whether people believe him.

He obviously wants to control the data so that the real facts that couldl put him in a bad light is not acceptable to him. That is is pattern of behavior. He is also a chronic pathological liar.

A personal "belief" or, as the right-wing puts it "feelings" is the opposite of "evidence."
POTUS has no evidence and, therefore, the CNN article accurately reports the matter.
