They're doing great. They're taking good care of each other. Thanks for asking. The farm is run by a rescue and is home to a variety of farm animals, birds, including some emus and also some therapy and companion animals. Both grandchildren love feeding the animals and the ponies and miniature donkeys.
 
Out to lunch to celebrate my husband's elderly cousin's 95 birthday. Her choice was an excellent Austrian restaurant . I had pork schnitzel with spaetzl and ligonberries . DH had jaeger schnitzel and our cousin joined me with the pork schnitzel. I'm not exaggerating when I say the schnitzel covered the entire plate! Definitely enough for a generous dinner tomorrow.
 
I made a sear roasted(seared on the stove top and finished in the oven) cod filet that I breaded w/ panko. The side was wild rice and ancient grain pilaf. Ice tea w/ lemon was the beverage.
 
Yesterday was Asiago crusted chicken with roasted carrots and potatoes.

Today was my trip out for Father's Day dinner without the crowds that will be there tomorrow. 1/2 Reuben, fries, and a couple fried pickle spears. My wife had the other half. Kiddos had kiddo meals. I haven't had a Reuben in a while; probably years. This one was good, and a half sandwich was plenty.
 
Busy day. Threw some linguine in a pot, added a little olive oil and butter and a can of minced clams. Garlic bread. A glass of pinot of pinot noir for me because it was already opened and iced tea for my husband.

Interesting, thanks. Any Panang curry I've ever had had zero peanut pieces in it so it must have been completely blended into the sauce.

And I always get 5 stars so maybe the sweetness/nuttiness it's supposed to have is overshadowed.

Ive had red curry but never panang curry.

It appears that they're very similar except one is more sweet, one more spicy...and I always get the sweet one "spiced up" because I like spicy Thai food. So I'll be sticking with the red curry from now on...which is supposed to be hot.

Really appreciate the link. Damn, I may need to go into town and get me some take out soon!
 
Found out my husband was actually going to be home for Father’s Day - so grabbed a prime rib yesterday out of the freezer and defrosted it.

Roasted prime rib.
Egg noodles (by request) for husband and kiddo
Garlic and herb riced cauliflower for Pop
Corn on the cob

Currently have an apple cobbler in the oven for dessert.

All the curries on the take out menu I have show the hot red chili sign, except for the Peanut one.
