Somewhere I hope to visit someday.

Holidaying in a cliff edge cottage looking out across Dingle bay in Autumn. Sitting in front of my first ever peat fire admiring the view, and going to a 'tea room' in the local village for an Irish Devonshire Tea. My wife listening to some locals at the next table talking, then whispering to me - "They're talking Gaelic". Me listening for a minute and then telling my wife that they were actually talking English, just with an accent so thick you would need a chainsaw to cut it.

And for total crazy, eating the nicest Chinese meal of my life at a restaurant in Dublin after touring some bars. Or was it just the Guinness??

My father was Irish, my maiden name is O'Grady. On my first trip to Ireland I was clearing customs and the official looked at my passport and then said "Welcome home". It truly brought a tear.

.

Oh, and The Quiet Man. Watched it countless times. It has a special place in the family. It is always popped in at family occasions like Thanksgiving, Christmas... My main man is Michaelen Flynn. His specialty? Beer and match making

My ancestral home is in Co. Meath. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been to Ireland. So many experiences and so many fine people to remember.

Definitely go. It's a beautiful country. I highly recommend the Giant's Causeway.

Very picturesque. I went to KilIarne. By bus from London. The drive to Bristol, if I recall right, was by night, so I didn't get the full English countryside. Ferry to Ireland by night. Come morning, by bus to Killarney. Quaint little homesteads, each with its own custom design gates and driveways...

a song ....

Erin is a grand land all year round,
it.s a grand land I tell you!

Abortion should be postponed for the moment. N Ireland is still under occupation. The liberation of Belfast is gonna require all hands
