i prefer not to interact with armed nutters. i don't have much of a problem with armed non-nutters. i've done some target shooting with a number of them.

Me too, but if I was a tourist in say New York Times Square, and a psychotic terrorist burst on the scene hell bent on taking as many lives as he could...

....I would prefer that he be armed with an edged weapon than with a firearm.

Notice he didn't care about bombings or mass murder involving crashing trucks or airplanes.

The shooter might actually be better off using a crossbow. No noise, so it would be a while before people realized what was happening.

I would suggest it is the root cause and the other causes stem from that root.

The only problem is it doesn't shoot very fast. Reloading that thing unlike changing a magazine would offer ample time for a bum rush.

If there are no bullets for the gun, essentially the gun is a paperweight.

Sadly terrorists and psychotic active shooters tend to seek out places where innocent people congregate, like schools, churches and tourist attractions.

I was being sarcastic a magazine change doesn't take long enough for someone to bum rush them they have to fumble with it, and you'd have to know that. It'd be much better if when you're doing your magazine change this one can shoot back at you.
