I find Bush' presence really revolting. Fiorina simply because here only claim to fame is running two companies into the ground but Republicans are shamelessly supporting her just because she's a woman. I didn't think there were many candidates that could make Hillary look good but Fiorina is one of them. Christie is a police state pushing douchebag. There's a lot to dislike in the GOP candidates.


I'm really starting to enjoy Carson being in the race though. He's performing an epic troll and leading the polls while doing it. Trump is doing the same thing but occasionally says things I actully agree with so that's good. If Hillary is the Dem Candidate I'd even vote for Trump.

So you would ignore his tenure as governor of arkansas and the success he had there because you hate christians? Mmk. This is a real positive sign for our voting public.
 
I prefer to look at track records rather than the drama most of the respondents in this poll are citing.

Lots of great candidates. I prefer governors and executives over senators. I dont judge politicians based on what their family did either. I judge based on record of success.
 
Personality wise...Trump.

Candidate wise...Carson.

  • Rubio very ambiguous, thoughtful. I like him
  • Bush might have the experience, but is lacking passion
  • Kasich one of my favorites were I to choose R
  • Christie so so
  • Cruz too extremist
  • Fiorina not bad
  • Huckabee no
  • Paul needs some fire

The dislike front runners, for me, are Trump followed by Cruz

I'd have to say Bush, followed closely by Rubio. When Bush the 3rd speaks, he shows those famous Bush mannerisms. And it reminds people of a family that's better left in the past.

Rubio is the GOP's version of obama, no doubt about it. He is young, inexperienced, extremely well spoken, and fits nicely into a minority demographic. He is a freshman Senator, and I believe obama was a junior Senator.
 

My Favorite Candidates are Cruz, and Paul. The ones I dislike the most is Bush,then Kasich, Christie, Huckabee,Trump, Rubio and Fiorina. I dislike RINOS and anti-American scum who want amnesty/pathway for citizenship for illegals. If I did not know anything about Trump other than what he has said in the past three or four months I would like him.But he changes positions more often than a indecisive porn star,He is Mitt Romney 2.0.He is a crony capitalist.He thinks it is alright for rich people to take other peoples property and done it himself.He aided in the elections of despicable liberal candidates.The few things I like about him is his idea for a wall on the border,But I think all illegals should be deported(contrary to what the media portrays Trump does not think all illegals should be deported) and the ones we can't catch should be encouraged to self deport through various laws that can be enacted to make it impossible for them live and work here.I also oppose outsourcing.

I am a Democrat, but I do watch the debates and read the political news so I'm just as up-to-date as any Republican in assessing the talents of these GOP candidates; however, I must agree, some of these Republican candidates are more qualified than others.

"Despise" is a strong word and implies contempt. My feelings for these presidential candidates are not that strong. I do have a special dislike for Christie and Fiorina. Governor Chris Christie is still waiting for the final verdict in the Bridgegate scandal and its fallout from a trial that's to get underway in 2016. Hence, there is a cloud over him along with the reality his own state loathes him with a passion.

Carly Fiorina seems to have one goal in mind, to castigate Hillary Clinton, which after a fashion, makes her look vindictive and petty as well as having an inner core ugly personality. Rick Santorum is too religious for me when it comes to social culture in America. Governor John Kasich has my utmost respect even though he's a Republican and I think among them all he is the only credible Republican candidate. Former Governor Jeb Bush does not belong in the spotlight as that climate seem to seep all the energy out of him. He definitely is not a public person and in some ways make his brother, George W Bush, seem like the more intelligent one! Ben Carson, I will agree, is totally unqualified to be president.....his appeal is the religious angle, that group who trust without questioning too closely. Like Fiorina, Dr. Ben Carson thinks he can lie his way through this campaign and dare anyone to question him too closely. He should realize as a presidential candidate for the most powerful position in the world he will be under intense scrutiny.
 
It is difficult to warm up to any GOP candidate with Trump so prominent in their midst -- he's the high-polling rotten apple that thereby spoils the whole bunch via "less-than" guilt by association.

If it were not for Trump, Bush the 3rd would inevitability be the nominee; the same as Clinton but on the other side. His wealthy donors would be able to purchase him the nomination.

Regardless, Trump's presence has insured Hillary's victory, whereas otherwise there might have been a real contest and associated presentation and exchange of ideas for the people to mull over.

I disagree. In fact, as long as Trump stays on message and hammers home about building a wall, deporting illegals, sending Syrian Muslims back, and making a case for getting better deals, the only thing preventing him from the White house is voter fraud.
 
I disagree. At this early stage only those with a high out-of-the-ordinary attention on politics are paying attention, and they're ruled by their preconceived ideology.

As time passes, Trump's personality flaws will be more in the general public eye, and people will easily see that he's got a psychological flaw that prevents him from being someone we feel safe about carrying the little black box.

His affect on the media's presentation even at this stage to the general public is giving many a sour stomach about politics in general, and they're not responding to polls.

But in 2016, maybe, sadly, by the summer, Trump will be gone, and Hillary will be looking a lot better by comparison.

Trump might as well be working for her.

After all, considering his Dem alliance in the past .. he may very well be an "employee" of the DNC.
 
Do you really believe that the ultra rich Donald Trump is working for Hillary. Number 1, she can't afford him. Number 2, do you realize what becoming President and bringing America back from the obama-Bush malaise, would do for his ego!

I freely admit, the guy is an outright egomaniac. He uses the "I" possesive more than obama! But at least he'd be our egomaniac, obama seems to be the President of Islam.

I cant stand Chris Christie. He yelled a some union people once and ever since the conservative media have loved him. He is a nothing. And he doesnt look like a gangster - he looks like the Penguin from Batman. And he is not tough or scary. He doesnt look tough or scary - he looks like a fat coward and he talks like someone from The View. I cant stand him.

If you came across Christie in a bar or dark alley would you be intimidated? Of course not. The image created for this fat loser does not match up with reality.

I laughed my ass off when I saw that he has been left out of next debate.

edit- all of the time and money spent building this loser up should have been spend on real conservative - Scott Walker. Christie has turned out to be a massive waste of time and money. What a loser.

I think it's just the opposite. Hillary's going to push hard left to give Trump an easy win. Because he owns her. He's already said that and she's not disputing it.

Quite a theory, but I don't know if I buy it. We're talking about a woman whom feels that she is owed the Presidency. I just don't buy that she'd give up her chance to be President and take a dive.
 
I don't either. Hillary thinks she's entitled to the nomination ("Eight years for Bill; eight years for Hill").
