What are you listening to? ver. 15.0

Laid back and to the side. Goes good with BBQ ribs and corn on the cob.

Back when FM radio was good.

I haven't listened to fm radio since clear channel took over. It was a mistake to overturn that law from the 1990's that prohibted companies or person's from owning more than 50 radio stations or so.

And you can tell from the DJ's from their voices, nowdays that they won't go to a record store and pick up a record and play it over the air.

Now it's all pre programmed, Dj's just push a button and the same top 40 songs are played.

Bring back real music.

‘I’m On To You’

As far as I know
You say she’s a friend
As far as I know
You’re at it again
Telling me lies
You’re so good, it’s true
But there’s a look in your eyes
And I'm on to you

I’m on to the signs
Your touch now so cold
Parallel lines
Dirt in the gold
You had me in style
All shiny and new
Oh it’s been a while
But I’m on to you

I’m on to the cheating
I'm on to the lies
The luxury fleeting
Time to break ties
Oh I'm on the liquor
The smoke and the blues
The flame is a flicker
Cos I'm on to you

You say she means nothing
Just a woman you know
Oh yeah darling
The stories you told
You forget I know well
The man that you are
I hear all the bells
The whistles and stars
The late night drinks
That go on for days
The times you rethink
The way you behave
It's already too late
So don't trouble the truth
Can't you feel the weight
Cos I'm on to you

As far as I know
You say she’s a friend
As far as I know
You’re at it again
Telling me lies
You’re so good, it’s true
But there’s a look in your eyes
And I’m on to you

You say she means nothing
Just a woman you know
Oh yeah darling
Oh the stories you told
You forget I know well
The man that you are
Oh I hear all the bells
The whistles and stars
The late night drinks
That go on for days
The times you rethink
The way you behave
It's already too late
So don't trouble the truth
Oh feel the weight
Cos I'm on to you, oh
I'm on to you
Oh darling, you know I'm on to you
It's already to late
So don't trouble the truth
Can't you feel the weight
Oh I'm on to you
I'm on to you, I'm on to you
I'm on to you baby, I'm on to you
Oh, I'm on to you
Don't you know it darling
You know I'm on to you...

Britbox doodling lead me to this blast from the past

Whatever sound Boris goes for in an album, they do it better than anyone else. Whether it is doom metal, drone metal, ambient metal, shoegaze, noise, or in this case punk.

Wait, is that a woman who is doing the cookie monster vocals?
