2 things I miss...violin in pop and more importantly whats real. Anyone who doesn't understand civilization is but a velvet lined gauntlet is in for some ****. But-it will teach you much about yourself and others-and that's supremely important.

And as an aside, Im also a guitarist...and a fretted violin (mandolin) should be up my ally-it is-but I will save for a high end violin first, though I appreciate how older and less capable pieces add context.

My #1 violin was built in 1929. Still have the sales receipt in the case-meaning 85 years by my math..
