The Compromise of 1877 resolved the tumult that had arisen following the 1876 presidential election. In that election, Democratic candidate Samuel J. Tilden of New York won 247,448 more popular votes than Republican Rutherford B. Hayes of Ohio. But the electoral votes in the three southern states of Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina were disputed. For almost four months, from November into late February, tensions remained high as the question of who was to become the nation’s next president remained unresolved.
Ted Cruz intends with 11 more Senators to invoke this to get the election of 2020 finally resolved.
Good idea. I believe there is ample evidence there was some strange stuff happening. I do not know if it was fraud. I know this much.
Trump had a early lead. Trump had it for a very long time. Suddenly when America was sleeping by magic Democrats votes came up by the truck loads. We saw a contreacted postal driver take ballots from New York State into PA to be used there. What the hell was that about?
I want this to be an honest election.

GOP senators want election commission similar to what decided disputed 1876 race
Several Republican senators are vowing to challenge electoral votes in the 2020 presidential election from several battleground states when the votes are formally counted at a joint session of Congress on Wednesday, with the hopes of establishing a commission to determine who gets the votes.
