When you hear democrats and their supporters talking about how great the Biden economy is, just refer them to the following statistics from the BLS/CPI:

Like I said... What a difference 2 years makes.

Prices for Thanksgiving essentials are down this year due to easing inflation, according to the American Farm Bureau. The average cost of turkey dropped about 5% from last year. Thanksgiving airfare is also down with airlines adding more flights.

Airfares down 13.2%.

You and the OP are talking about two different things.

You are comparing prices from last year to this year. The OP is comparing prices from two years ago to this year.

Tell me, when Americans go to the store, do they think about how prices are less now than last year? Or do they think about how prices are STILL higher than before Biden was installed in the WH?

I guess the answer depends upon how well they are manipulated by the Trump hating media.

What about three years ago? Anything to say about that?

The OP is deceptive. Prices for thanksgiving are dropping.

You want me to tell you what Americans think when going to the store? Do I look like a pollster?

It's a worldwide conspiracy against Trump.

How was the cherry harvest two years ago versus today? You seem to be quite knowledgeable at how to pick them.

I'm paying more than 4.6 times that price in Alaska. A whole frozen Turkey at Three-Bears Grocery Store in Alaska is going for $2.19/pound. or $0.14/ounce, and they are one of the cheapest grocery stores in Alaska.

The OP is not deceptive. The cost of Thanksgiving is down from last year, and up considerably from November 2020, before Biden became President. Everything is more expensive since Biden became President. Get a clue.

How is the Covid epidemic, unemployment and international respect for the US doing?
The seeds of inflation were planted by Trump and grown by his fiscal policies. What did the Trump administration think a tax cut would do to spending and inflation?

No, not until inflation hit. People saved during Covid because they had to. Inflation ate that up after Covid. The excess savings are gone and consumer debt is at an all time high at 17.3 Trillion.

Were people maxed on credit cards just to pay the bills under Trump?

I figured you rugged frontier types shot your own turkeys?

I get the graphic to be 1, turkey, 2, bread, 3. potato(?), 4&5 both look like pie???

No, not until inflation hit.

If this was the case, why did the government send out all that money?

So you’re saying people didn’t max out their credit cards under Trump? I would love to see you support that claim. Also, everything was more expensive during Covid, unless you remember an alternate version of earth’s timeline in which Covid defied the laws of supply and demand and made everything cheaper.

Who do you mean by "people"? Some people are always maxed out. The question is how many people are becoming maxed out. Consumer debt is rising and is at an all time high. More people are maxing out. Higher interest rates make maintenance on that debt worse. High interest rates are caused by inflation. Inflation for 2020 and 2021 was 1.23 and 4.7.

By 2022 it was 8%.

I would, if there were turkeys in Alaska. The closet thing we have to a turkey in Alaska are spruce grouse.

They are good eating, but you need a decent dog to hunt them properly. It can be difficult to find them in the snow after you shoot them without a dog.

Number 4 in the graphic is pie. It is unclear whether it is meant to represent a savory or a sweet pie. Number 5 is a slice of cake and a cookie.

It's 2023. Inflation is 3.2%.

The OP is deceptive. Thanksgiving prices are down. Airfares by 13%. How they compare to 2021 is irrelevant to the fact that Thanksgiving is cheaper this year than last.

Funny. Turkey's where I live are .99 per pound. Same price as they've been for the last 5 years. Just stop with the propaganda.
