WH Press Sec Karoline Leavitt Suggests DOJ Could Arrest Supreme Court Justices (1 Viewer)

If lawfare was wrong...then how can it be acceptable now?
I'm not saying it should. I am only pointing out this is the monster the democrats released. The left was giddy that it was used to attack president Trump. They are rhe ones that made it acceotable.

I'm not saying it should. I am only pointing out this is the monster the democrats released.
Bullshit. Nothing was released on Trump except Trump's own interminable criminality.
The left was giddy that it was used to attack president Trump.
The left was giddy that Trump was finally getting what he deserved. The left relished the fact that the law was catching up to Trump yet again, just as it had any number of times in his past. Just as it will continue to do again once he is out of office. Not "lawfare" - just justice!
They are rhe ones that made it acceotable.
As usual, you don't know what you're talking about. Open your eyes, and look at Trump's legal record for decades before he ever entered politics. His civil and criminal woes over the past 10 years were never more than the natural continuation of things he had been bringing on himself for his entire life.

So then you admit that he's got no legal basis for what he's doing? Yes or no?

You deny the facts.

What are you speaking of? Leavitt did not say it was policy. She answered a hypothetical question.

We've been waiting for Ole Clearance to get the cuffs put on him. He has violated the rules and ethics so many times, it's hard to keep up with or calculate how much he took in gifts/bribes. What exactly has any other judge done that would be worse than Thomas?
Over $4 million dollars.

He has taken more than any justice in history.

In the meantime, every single SCOTUS Justice - including rabid-right-wing-trump-supporters Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch - should be taking this as the shot across the bow it is meant to be.
I am all for Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch being disbarred and booted from the court.

WH Press Sec Karoline Leavitt Suggests DOJ Could Arrest Supreme Court Justices

This needs to be the end of "Lyin" Leavitt's career. It also needs to be the end of Bondi's career.

Bondi will wind up in prison eventually. In the meantime, she needs to be disbarred and removed from office.

All the agents involved in raiding an active courtroom need to be terminated, they need to lose all pay, benefits, pensions, post-certifications, security clearances, and access to weapons.

In your opinion, why should a judge or justice breaking laws be immune from arrest and prosecution when any private citizen would not be granted the same immunity?

Does your position on judges/justices being above the law extend to elected politicians and political appointees too?

Does one's party affiliation determine who is/isn't immune from prosecution in your argument?

In your opinion, why should a judge or justice breaking laws be immune from arrest and prosecution when any private citizen would not be granted the same immunity?
I never said that. I have long been in favor of Alito and Thomas being arrested for bribery.
Does your position on judges/justices being above the law extend to elected politicians and political appointees too?
I never said they were above the law. They should be threatened by the MAGA goon squad.
Does one's party affiliation determine who is/isn't immune from prosecution in your argument?
Nonsensical bullshit.

Nonsensical bullshit.

So why did you start a thread complaining about judges and justices being arrested/charged/potentially prosecuted for alleged crimes?

It would seem if these answers you gave are true, then you wouldn't have a problem with the, "Nobody is above the law" enforcement policy.

What exactly are you complaining about?

So why did you start a thread complaining about judges and justices being arrested/charged/potentially prosecuted for alleged crimes?
Trump and his goons are doing it to intimidate judges and justices.
It would seem if these answers you gave are true, then you wouldn't have a problem with the, "Nobody is above the law" enforcement policy.
If it wasn't being done to intimidate judges/justices, it would be fine.
What exactly are you complaining about?
Trump and his goons intimidating judges and justices.

You deny the facts.
NO! YOU deny the facts. And most of those same facts have been available to you since before his first election, which, by their very timetable alone, totally preclude any call for “lawfare”. The lawsuit that your idiot sexual predator president LOST to one of his unfortunate victims dates to events back in1996, a full 20 years before he ever came to office. Yet the mouthy moron in the Oval Office was so ****ing stupid, he continued to libel her, even after he had been warned by the judge to curb his libelous tongue, tacking another $5 million on the Jury’s decision, finally arriving at 88.3 MILLION DOLLAR$ in damage! Not "lawfare" - TRIAL BY JURY!

Or perhaps the "lawfare" you're referring to was Trump's own misuse of the DoJ to defend himself? Is that what confused you? Talk about lawfare, Trump wants you and I to pay for his sexual predation and loose talk.

"In September 2020 government lawyers from the Department of Justice asserted that Trump had acted in his official capacity while responding to Carroll's accusation; they said that the Federal Tort Claims Act grants their department the right to take the case from Trump's private lawyers and move it to federal court. A White House official also argued that the act provides precedent for the government to exercise this right. Carroll's lawyer Roberta Kaplan stated that "Trump's effort to wield the power of the U.S. government to evade responsibility for his private misconduct is without precedent."

Or maybe your reference to "lawfare" is about Trump's most recent misuse of the DoJ, dating less than 3 weeks ago?

"On April 11, (2025) the Justice Department asked the appeals court to substitute the United States for Trump as the defendant, stating that he had acted in his official capacity as president when he made the statements." (~ ibid), yet again trying to force US taxpayers to foot the bill for his repeated misconduct. Yeah, you read that right. Trump claims his ongoing libel against E. Jean Carroll was "in his official capacity as president"! Where is your outrage???

This is the man you defend. A convicted money launderer, and FRAUD of the highest order, with multiple legal judgements against him, and tens-of-million$ in fines paid, and to be paid. A fascistic racist, a misogynist, and xenophobe - a convicted felon and sexual predator. A scumbag of the NTH Degree. And none of the characterizations listed above are up for debate. He is all that and more!

Why do you continue to carry water for him? Why deny the facts? WHY? It boggles the mind.
🤔

Trump and his goons intimidating judges and justices.

But if investigative bodies including law enforcement, prosecutors, courts/jurors, etc. etc. etc. are all involved in the advancement of this case, will your attitude change at all if this case is determined to be justified by those forces to proceed and/or if they determine guilt of a crime?

It's a major stretch to suggest that all steps of the process are illegitimate merely because you don't like Trump.

Lmao at such partisan nonsense.
The last time that I checked, Trump is weaponizing the DOJ and everything else that he can corrupt.
KING MAGAT is openly and blatantly doing exactly what he falsely claimed Democrats had done, all for his REVENGE AGENDA which is real, despite all the MAGATS et al denials that it is happening.
