Just wondering. How does our current guy stack up against Nixon with regard to the obfuscation and coverups, personal attacks through IRS Targeting along with first amendment erosion and the political use of the Justice Department to punish political opponents?

I understand that a few folks from the Benghazi massacre are finally going to appear before Congress to to testify after more than a year of the Congress seeking this and being blocked by the Administration.

There's something about electronic eaves dropping in there. Check that box. Using the IRS and not enforcing laws. Check two more.

Just some interesting parallels.

Nixon Articles of Impeachment

High crimes and misdemeanors are whatever the Congress decides they are or are not.

True that, but impeachment is a political process, not a criminal one. That being said, Nixon could learn a few things from Obama, as Obama has twisted crap in ways Nixon could not have imagined in his wildest wet dreams.

Bush and Obama have made all their predecessors seem like Angels. If now was then, neither one would have been re-elected and both of them would face charges.

The times, they are achagin'.

off the top of my head ( loathing/slothful to do any research, at any time) Nixon was a war criminal.
Obama is just another stupid neo-con hawk...unless one considers the CIA signature strikes illegal. I do, but that's not the point of course.

National security now is a bigger blanket to hide war powers, and Congress is still unable to assert them;
so the executive roams the world virtually unchecked.
