Hence, my initial comment. He seems stand up. If he addresses it, it'll be enough.I have no idea what he's said about that - I can't imagine he WASN'T asked about back in 2006, though.

I can’t say that I am surprised that that is the best you can do.Zzzzzzzzzz.
Yeah, that's not good. I wonder about his 30 visits to China, as this leans more to character issues.
Strange you didn’t actually answer the question. Hmm. Wonder why.The one where he made a mistake, overcame it and is a great example to other people who are still drinking and driving.
Sorry if that hurts and that you guys are flaccid in your attempts to attack him (and that voters genuinely like the guy).
That must suck for MAGAs.

Well he didn't kill anyone, so that's good I guess. Step ahead of Ted Kennedy.Walz was teaching high school, age 31. He went drunk driving at 96 MPH. He got caught. Years later running for office, his campaign lied like crazy about it, making excuses involving his service. That's all despicable and suggests a character issue at the times. I think it deserves condemnation, and that it doesn't much affect the election.
Walz made a mistake, paid the penalty for it, learned from it, and didn't do it again. End of story.
Walz made a mistake. Made additional mistakes by lying about it. Paid the penalty for it. Learned from it. Didn't do it again. End of story.
Only trickie dickie was allowed to go to China.
Tim Walz did some teaching at a school in China. I don't see an issue with that.
you’re seeing the damage done when lefties listen toThat is very much open to debate.

At this point, while it is a serious offense, it's 30 years ago and it doesn't appear to have been repeated.
When did he lie about his DEI?
in 2006 apparently
per article in the OP
But in 2006, his campaign repeatedly told the press that he had not been drinking that night, claiming that his failed field sobriety test was due to a misunderstanding related to hearing loss from his time in the National Guard. The campaign also claimed that Walz was allowed to drive himself to jail that night.None of that was true.
Gosh, he lied in 2006! Nearly 20 years ago! The horror!![]()
It's his campaign, phys. He needs to own it.Gosh, he lied in 2006! Nearly 20 years ago! The horror!![]()
ignoring the truth or glossing over the truth is never a good look
It's his campaign, phys. He needs to own it.
He already did.
I don't see that.He already did.
So both VP picks do the dew? The country is ****ed.![]()
Pictured: Tim Walz's mugshot from 1995 DUI arrest
The police photo, obtained by Newsweek, captures a younger Walz, then a 31-year-old teacher, after he was pulled over going 40 mph over the speed limit.www.newsweek.com

Not good, but he still looks like a choir boy next to the convicted felon espionage traitor with 3 more criminal trials to go who cannot tell the truth about anything and the entire country knows it.Walz was teaching high school, age 31. The richness is luxurious.Did Walz lie about it?
Which sorts of lies do you find relevant and which ones don't matter, when it comes to evaluating a political candidate?
lulzA campaign aide lied about it. Not Walz. Right?
lulz
"My campaign is a rogue operation I have zero control over."
that's weaksauce
from the article in the OP
"his campaign repeatedly told the press"
It wasn't a one time thing where some nervous young aide was unexpectedly put on the spot and blurted out some bullshit
Does it? If we can have a presidential candidate who has business interests in China and has paid taxes to the Chinese government, we're probably ok with someone who's visited China, provided those visits were on the up and up.Yeah, that's not good. I wonder about his 30 visits to China, as this leans more to character issues.
