Really? He wasn't a threat to anyone? He was in a region of the world vital to our economic security yet wasn't a threat? Why is it liberals always react instead of being proactive on any issue. Bin Laden wasn't a threat either but 3000 Americans died on Sept. 11. Instead of waiting for Saddam Hussein to reconstitute his WMD program Bush took the action his father should have completed and Clinton ignored.

As for feeling guilty, that is a liberal reaction not a principled reaction. Bush never felt guilty about doing what was right and showed it every day.
I disagree with you very much about the threat that Iraq was, however I will not pursue it in this thread. My post earlier was meant to yank your chain more than anything else.

My kudos for President Bush meeting the troops as they came home, it was the correct and proper thing for him to do.
