I heard on Facebook that Columbus Ohio bans the selling of cornflakes on Sundays. I did some research and found out that this is true and every state has their own set of wacky laws nobody bothered to change. Click here to see other crazy laws in Ohio, like you cannot get a fish drunk.

I live in New York state, so here's a list of crazy/weird laws:

- It is illegal to sell dog or cat hair
- It's illegal to wear slippers in public after 10:00 pm in New York City.
- It's illegal to release more than 25 helium-filled balloons at a time.
- Citizens may not greet each other by “putting one’s thumb to the nose and wiggling the fingers”.
- You need a license to hang clothes on a clothesline to dry.

Let me know about your state's crazy laws.

OK:

In the UK jaywalking is not a thing.

I can cross the street wherever I like and if I get splatted its my own damn fault.

Fireworks stores may not sell fireworks to state residents.
Vehicles cannot be sold on Sundays.
Illegal to sing while in a bathtub.

In Ohio we were permitrted to buy fireworks but we had to take them out of state to light them. Fireworks stores usually had multiple out-of-state phone books available for an possible address to write on the forms.

Hmm… Ohio is pretending to export fireworks sold within Ohio. ;)

Pretty much. Everyone knew it was a farce. I never know anyone who was arrested for having fireworks unless there were injuries/fires involved.

None of the Ohio laws you claim exist are cited as to which section of the code would contain them. Most of these “whacky laws” are either non existent or taken out of context

I don't believe you.

I've spent a lot of time in C-bus, but that is news to me. Ohio booze laws are weird.

You do understand there are laws passed which are both outdated and unenforceable? This is a comedy thread. I want to know all wacky laws lawmakers are too lazy to amend or abolish.

No one ever passed a law against selling cornflakes or whatever.

There is no evidence of any of these “whacky laws” you cited are actually laws.

Just passed.
You must take a course in black history/critical race theory (i am not sure which it is) for ANY degree at any state college. Community College or 4 year school. And this is a very big state with arguably the best state college network in the country.
Insanity.
