It's because they tend not to be believed: women who come forward with sexual assault/harassment cases can expect a mixture of disbelief, retribution by the more powerful sexual predator, punishment by a system that harbors that predator, an investigation into their own personal lives, and accusations that they're only doing the accusing for wealth and/or attention.

Ask the women who were the victims of Weinstein if his sexual harassment was morally relativistic. Then, ask the women who were the victims of Trump if his assault was morally relativistic. Your personal opinion of moral relativism isn't interesting to me, but I'm certainly interested to hear what their victims think.

I'd ask you to ask the murdered babies for their opinion, but then, realistically, I can't, because they're dead. :shrug: But the point I was addressing is hypocrisy. If you'd like a more direct example, those Democratic leaders like Nancy and Chuck claim to cry for the children murdered in Newtown, Connecticut while championing the murders of babies in Everytown USA.
