President Biden said we would leave Afghanistan. We are.

President Biden said we would hunt down ISIS. We will.

Our enemies underestimate President Biden at their peril.
"If we leave, we’re going to do so in a safe and orderly way."
Joe Biden

One comment... I'm upset like everybody else, but I've a question to ask...

How does a devout Roman Catholic president not forgive? I understand the not forgetting part, but the not forgiving defies the teachings of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

"Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn

‘a man against his father,

a daughter against her mother,

a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

A man’s enemies will be the members

of his own household.’"

Seems to me he is succeeding.

The thing everyone seems to forget about Biden is that he has a temper and a gift for holding grudges.

It's one of the things I like about him.

Our government is secular, in case you've forgotten. Unless you would like to do what the Taliban are doing and create a theocracy.
Im not sure the gov is actually secular per se. There are various religious symbols and references to God throughout the government. Even our money still has in God we trust written across it.

Wake me when the SCOTUS rules on a law overtly using the Bible or other religious text as a basis for their decision.

This entire week has been heart-wrenching to watch knowing our military was given an impossible mission while relying on the Taliban for security. I have a whole hell of a lot to say how Biden fecklessly executed this mission and in the coming weeks and months I will have a Hell of a lot to unleash about it. But right now I am asking for every person of faith on this forum to vigilantly keep our troops and all our brothers and sisters still left in Afghanistan and our friends who took such great risks.

Biden is an empty suit, and doesn't have the balls to get engaged in conflict. All talk no action, and the red line he drew with the Taliban was crossed.

Prove me wrong Biden .. and make sure you call on the right journalist from your list to answer questions.

Are the bill of rights not based on peoples relationship with a higher power of their choosing. Our goverments position reminds me a lot of how AA approaches the topic.

They are based on the conception of natural rights and representative government as proposed by John Locke and Jean-Jacques Russeau as their main influences.

Excuse me?
This argument of yours is literally 'holy' shit.

48 hours ago, you said,
" 'We do not negotiate with terrorists'
What has this country become?"

Now you want him to turn the other cheek? No, you've just found a very false equivalence to use as criticism--the bottom of the Biden damning barrel--his personal faith: Christian forgiveness with military response to an attack.

Natural rights are God given rights to religious people
Please cite the passages in The Bible where natural rights are mentioned.

However, please be careful that you do not accidentally cite natural law as Thomas Aquinas envisioned it, that is a very different concept even though it has a similar name (but has better support from The Bible).

I actually agree with you here. I think H.W. Bush (or was it Reagan) said, "We will respond in a time and manner of our choosing." I think that's ominous enough :)
Ask Osama 'bout that.

Your Lord allowed his followers to smite whole towns and non-believers.

You mean like he invoked his deceased son, Beau's name again?
It's disgraceful at this point. Feckless coward hides behind his deceased son when he doesn't want criticism.
Oh, how can we attack Joe. He lost his son. He so empathetic.
Who's buying this act any longer?

This isn't about "America". This is about Biden.

I selected other. If you had said Biden instead of America, I would have selected "all talk and no action"...and everything that led up to today's tragedy supports that.

This is why Biden is spouting bullshit.
