That depends. Social distancing was a far better solution than doing nothing at all as some proposed. The less people in a space and not crowded up on each other reduces the risk, and is far from a 100% solution. Less people in a shared space, the lower viral load potential in the air.

Not against COVID 19. There was only so much washing hands is going to do against an airborne disease. Being healthy is always a plus, but wasn't effective at avoiding infection since those infected with mild symptoms could still transmit to others.
