Well since most of my family worked has for Nasa since the mid 60's (you know, that inside info and all)
I do believe men walked on the moon. as for the video's only one word comes to mind.. Retarded.

I can understand why you people feel that way. I've watched all of those videos and there is some stuff that I think is irrefutable.

This is some stuff that I consider to be conclusive proof that at least some of the footage was faked.

We can only see the area around the lander. Everything else is dark.

At double speed the astronaut looks like he's in earth gravity.

Why isn't it illuminated in the Apollo 11 footage?

At the 1 minute 47 second mark of the Apollo 17 footage the reflection of the sun in the astronaut's visor is much bigger than the reflection of the sun in this space-walking shuttle astronaut's visor.

The reflection in the visor is similar to that of the shuttle astronaut's.

According to the hoax theory some of the footage was shot in the desert and some was shot in a studio. Evidently, Apollo 12 was shot in the desert and Apollo 17 was shot in a studio. The reflection in the Apollo 17 astronaut's visor is that of a big artificial light source--not the sun. The light source is probably more than three feet wide.

The astronaut is running. The movements are different from the movements of the astronaut in the Apollo 11 footage.

There is lots of circumstantial evidence too. There are no clear shots of an object being thrown to illustrate how things move in lunar gravity. The Hammer feather drop was fakable.

There's also the behavior of the astronauts.

The concept that tens of thousands of people working on the apollo missions are all engaged in this gigantic conspiracy to fabricate lunar missions is far more unbelievable than anything in the videos.

Here's why people will not take this issue seriously, Scott:

Every single "anomoly" and piece of "evidence" supporting a conspiracy in these videos has been thoroughly and convincingly debunked by simple scientific explainations over and over again. The unseen stars, the identical landscapes, the crosshairs, the radiation, the landing crater, the shadows... all of it makes perfect sense when experts on those paticular subjects are the source of the information -- NOT uninformed paranoid lay people and dramatic film makers.
 
I have seen space ships from outer space and if we went to the moon our space craft would most likely have been bombed up by them.
I have talked to alliens many times but they never mentioned seeing any of our space ships going to the moon.
If I see the "space ship people" I will certainly ask them if we went to the moon.
I will post later when I get to talk to them.
 
Since my home planet is slightly to the right of Alpha Centuri, my trek here required me to make a quick stop on the moon for refueling and a couple of lunar-burgers at, the famous, 'Ushman's House of Lunar Burgers'. While there, I checked out the lunar landing sites. Damn, those guys needed to clean up after themselves. Y'all are messy.
 

As I've already said the people who made those videos did make a few mistakes. Maybe they were wrong about the stars. There aren't any stars in a studio either so that isn't proof. They put forth plausible alternative explanations for a lot of theories the hoax-believers put forth. That doesn't debunk them though. What they said about the crater, the crosshairs, etc is plausible but the hoax theories are still plausible too. If there is one piece of proof that the missions were faked, all of that falls by the wayside. I've never seen any proof that they went to the moon and I've seen lots of proof that they didn't go. All of what you mentioned is an attempt at damage-control by the government. I posted some stuff in reply #4 that I think is proof that some of the footage is faked. If some of it was faked, it was probably all faked,

I haven't looked at all of this but I've never seen anything in the footage that couldn't have been filmed in a studio or the desert.

Why don't you give your analysis of what I posted in reply #4?

Post something that you think is proof that the missions were real and we can discuss whether it's really proof.
 

Well, already we have a problem here in our discussion -- the burden of proof. Now first of all, we both must consent that any "proof" we have for either side will all be received through secondary means. That is, neither you nor I have gone to the moon and neither you nor I saw or carried out the steps needed to fake it. Therefore, we can only know what we are told - be that from websites, books, tv, other people, etc. But the world concensus is that we DID go to the moon (and you can even refute that if you want since i don't have a poll). We know this from seeing it on tv, reading it in the papers, learning it in school and so on. I personally believe this because the issue has been researched and discussed at length in numerous places by numerous sources and the most reliable sources in all situations say that we DID go to the moon.

So I charge that the burden of proof is on you, to convince the rest of us that we didn't go to the moon. And so far, you've only offered fallacy-laden propaganda videos.

So do you really believe, with all your heart, the moon landing was faked?? Consider which is more likely:
-a few paranoid people get confused and misled over the details of a very complicated, complex situation
-hundreds(possibly thousands) of conspirators pull off the most elaborate and massive hoax in world history
 

Let's see, what is the best way to express my thoughts on this particular "theory"...

 
Watch the part of the video where it shows the astronauts walking by the flag. The flag doesn't move. This does prove that this was filmed in a location without atmosphere- no wind resistance without atmosphere.

We did go to the moon, and it's not logically or quantitatively argueable.
